Pierce Brosnan is currently on TV in Goldeneye *swoon*. If MG tells me she has met him in real life I will be forced to poke her eyes out with a blunt stick out of pure jealousy. ;)

Nope - but it did brighten up my evening seeing him in "Mama Mia" without his shirt on .................................. but then I don't get out much:rotfl:

I hope the rain stops here - due to take DS2 to a field on a Farm to watch a concert by "The Singing Kettle" this afternoon - they've got a marquee up, but could be a bit soggy taking all our little pirates in there with their wellies on.

Off to make the littlie breakfast

    Hey ladies and gents.
Not been around much last few days as have been a bit busy, going out, picking up fixed scooters and some very tired children. Was going to post last night but was in the middle of meltdown central with DS and quite frankly I didn't have anything good to say at this point.
Had an awful dream last night. I watched a film a few weeks ago and it seems to have triggered another episode of anxiety for me :o Since I had DS I've had anxiety about keeping him (and subsequently DD) safe. It's been worse since DS got his ASD diagnosis because I felt the in an apocaliptic event he wouldn't be able to take care of DD. Yep this is what my anxiety is based on.....not bullying, not riots like the ones in London it's end of the world stuff. I've been walking round this morning verging on looking up survivalist websites to learn some skills :o Having dreams about it only makes it worse. I thought I'd got on top it about 4 months ago but clearly not. Sorry for waffling on about this, H is still asleep and I just needed to vent some of this off.

I appear to be mentioned in several hugs which although very kind I don't feel terribly deserving. DS can be high maintenance sometimes (like last night) but we bump along as best we can.

Gorgeous sunshine here, planning on taking the kids swimming and then hopefully a day of pottering at home. Have a great day everyone.

The no knead bread is best after its been in the fridge for about 24 hours (develops a nice sour-dough) flavour.

Made yesterday and today I have a a box of bubbly bread dough doing is "Thang" in the fridge. I've taken photo's for the blog.

Will make a roll at lunchtime to test it out.

Sugah has been tweaking my food plan. She wants me to eat much as I have been doing (but I felt I was relying on cheap carbs all the time).

So half the plate is now F & V, quarter carbs and quarter protein and 1 tsp of fat per meal.................... lets see how the tweaks help the weight loss. (Fat is omega rich type - so virgin olive and flax seed oil)

Bitsy, thats kind of the point - you're living with such deep levels of fear and anxiety, and still managing to provide a loving home for DS and DD.

    And yes, more hugs :kisses3:

Thanks Karma. It feels so silly in the cold light of day but in the wee small hours its awful. I even logged on to BBC News this morning to make sure all was OK and felt relieved when I saw about the riots in tottenham :o:o:o
the lovely Marru lent me some CD's to try and assist with my anxiety issues, they are now on my Ipod so I need to make some time to listen to them.

It sounds awful, Bitsy - mind you, I've done the same in the past, checking out how to survive a nuclear terrorist incident, or wondering what I'd do if we had to evacuate (that was partly sparked by being alone in a friend's house in Florida when a hurricane warning was given out!!!). But I don't have children dependent on me, and you do.

And I do wonder about the news today - between global warming, the decline from peak oil production and the aftermath of the financial crisis, I think the next ten years might be quite tough. But I know that a lot of that is my own anxiety - don't mean to make it worse, sorry, but I absolutely *get* that sense of needing to check everything's okay ...

Been and done my third couch to 5k run - was drizzly and raining so no-one else was around to see me wobbling. Got home not quite as purple as first 2 times and have lots of energy (but less enthusiasm) for getting on with dd's room today.

Dh has got a day off after working 2x 8am-10pm shifts so am trying to make sure he gets some R&R when my selfish inner child wants him to look after ds so I get some me-time. This positive stuff isn't always easy is it?:p

Seconded - and I am sure I wouldn't have been able to cope.
