    Morning matrixettes.

Feeling a tad jetlagged this morning, I always do when the flippin clocks go back:mad: I have done a load of washing, washed up the dinner things from last night, rung the jobcentre to find out about my JSA (Sunflower - go and sign on, you are entitled as you have paid enough tax over the years). Now I am about to embark on a marathon application session having seen about 7 jobs at a local university that I am qualified for.

I had an NSD weekend - slowcooked a beef stew for Saturday dinner and because I forgot to get some chicken out of the freezer, re-slowcooked the stew leftovers and had them for dinner again last night:cool:

    Morning ladies

my friend has finally joined MSE, sweetcornlolly, have asked her to come and post and say hello.

She wants to start her own business from home, but doesn't know what to do.

She is not into crafting, she can't sew, knit, crochet, etc. She says she is no good at being a children's entertainer.

Am at work, so cannot stay long, but hoping she may read the thread and get inspired :)
  • Hello everyone, my friend Aesop, kindly introduced to MSE. I'm a mum at home with 2 kids. Was due back to work after my 2nd child baby but was made redundant. I would just love to work from home as I can spend lots of time with my kids. I am very creative and am always making and decorating my house with my daughter. Whilst at home organised a charity event to help raise money for breast cancer. It's just to find that niche in the childrens market!!! Love anyone's advice. Thank you in advance.

Welcome aboard hon - its quiet on here being a Monday but things will liven up later.

Now I am off to conjour up a Halloween tea out of - well out of whatever I can find in store cupboard. Some smart Mummy hid a bag or party bits and Halloween cutters on a peg in the store last year - so looking at a no-spend party!!! Wohooo!!!

Quick question for all you wonderful experiment in the kitchen Matrixittes....

Work colleague wants to make parma violet vodka - is there a flavouring that can be used rather than just crushing up parma violets & popping them in the voddy? seems such a waste of parma violets......

    Thanks

Cheapest way is to use the sweeties - buy the big roll and crush up before putting in the bottle.

You could try and buy the real stuff (Creme Yvette) if you want to make authentic French Martini but it is a real specialist booze and you are not likely to find it in the Supermarkets.

Why not buy two rolls - eat one and dissolve one? They are not that expensive.

You can also do this with skittles and werthers original BTW
