Well that could have gone better - DS1 is really upset, but managed to stroke his cat before his Grandma took him away to Grandad. I know this is TMI, but at least he got to stroke him goodbye before he was cold and before rigour had set in - he still felt warm and fluffy like a cat should.

And in the middle the journalist called - they are going to use my story - £200 will be winging it's way to us before Christmas .......................

Well I managed to get a drs app this morning, to be told yes your ear and throat are red, you have a virus

I'm now sat here eating ham soup mmmmm. It doesn't look very appetising but tastes lovely

Poor Boots - Glad DS1 got to say good bye...I've lost both of my cats (both run over and still get upset about not being able to say bye to the first one but admittedly he was in a bad way) the second one I found and so he was like you say still warm.

Hugs MG, so sorry about Big Boy Boots. I'll light a wee candle for him (and you) tonight. The last 2 days have been a right old roller coaster for you. Loss hurts, but I hope there is some solace in being able to do the kindest thing for your feline friend. DS1 will always remember being able to say goodbye which is a lot more real and honest than just being told. And he's lucky to have you to help him with this.
