Sorry to report that at 3.15 poor Boots had to be put down. The vet is convinced that he had drunk some anti-freeze over the weekend. His liver was enlarged and his kidneys failing.
Boots was a nosey old boy - and as anti-freeze is sweet for cats I'm not convinced it was deliberate - just very sad.
So waiting for the boys to come home so that they can say goodbye to Boots before Grandad picks him up to bury in the garden.

Sorry to hear about Boots MG. It is tough and upsetting to lose a pet, I'm still sad about my dog going to the rainbow bridge in April.:A
