Hi tmif,
Basildon is not a bad place, but bits of it are really not very nice at all. Shops and ammenities are good, easy to get to London if you need to, but it is all very close to the only ways is essex land,Jan 13/15 Feb 16/15 March 19/20 April 17/15:D May 0/17

I'm in holiday preparation mode... only 2 more sleeps until I get to go to the seaside!
I'm a bit behind so, congratulations to Crickett, well done to Thrifty and happy birthday to Firewalker.
I have lost 1lb this week, the exercise and healthy eating is paying off and mentally I feel so much better. Need to try not to put it back on next week, but having a Devon cream tea is quite high on my agenda... will have to offset with lots of walking.
Applied for another admin job today with pretty good pay, really hoping there will be a letter inviting me for an interview when I get back!0 -

It's my Daughter's 5th birthday on Sunday....she's already proving to be independent and fiesty with a liking for nice shoes lol
I'm another one that's not around as much although I do try to read daily (I'm following the sofa project with baited breath!) but I'm having a couple of days off while we decorate and swap rooms around.
I'm loving my new job it's absolutely perfect for me and I'm mostly left to my own devices - which suits me! I'm getting very good feedback from by boss and he isn't shy in telling me he thinks i'm doing a great job - which is lovely to hear.
Have a dose of positive vibes from me - especially those looking for work......I do think the note I wrote the Universe earlier in the year asking for the perfect job for me is still in the drawer somewhere ......;)Climbing back on the OS wagon after a short vacation to Recklessness

Just a quickie as we are heading out the door for the Science Museum in a moment - but lunches are packed, toys for the car collected - even my knitting is in the bag - so we are organised to the nth degree.
Have taken £10 in cash and that is our limit for the day - anything we bring back goes straight over to he Big Debt.
So close so close
Have a great day - and in the minutes before Mum arrives to drive us do you think I can throw something in the slow cooker for tea .................... on your marks, get set, go MG!!!!!!

Hey there Matrix...
Sorry I have not been around here or at home... Work has tightened up regulations about internet use and so i am very limited in when I get in and read stuff. I do apologise. I also need to get the Matrix stuff set up on my home computer. Things have been totally nuts around here this week, but not in a bad way at all!
Spending the weekend with my goddaughter and her parents, and can't wait. Oh, and I have taught myself to knit this week. Currently on my second square for a baby blanket for a friend of mine who is expecting. Blanket is going to be 3 knitted patches in different stitches, in 4 different colours, with a crocheted edge around each square, and then all crocheted together, with another border around it. The squares are in garter stitch, stocking stitch and seed stitch.I am really loving it.
Okay... gotta go as have other internetty chores to do before going back to work. Have a lovely weekend everyone... and I will try and pop in on Sunday when we have returned from entertaining an energetic 7 yr old!!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -
Afternoon peeps.
Application has been sent for the job at the wedding venue - changed my CV to have heavy emphasis on weddings and mentioned my professional planning diploma:D The wedding chap that I know down south (same boat as me, no work this year but work for next) has a job with a pawn brokers - he claims there are some near me but I don't want to work in Telford or Shrewsbury which are my nearest stores.
I have arranged a meet next week because I am discussing Forever Living - trying to see if I can take it on without spending anything. I am good at blogging and tweeting.
I added more stuff to Pot last night including the remaining sausages and cooked it all up again so a different variety of sausage casserole was had for dinner last night and a portion has gone into the freezer. I added pasta and peas last night. Tonight I am having a cornish pasty with oven chips and peas and gravy.
Another NSD for me today - saw counsellor today and came out of there feeling worse than when I went in, am seriously considering knocking it on the head to be honest with you as I was sitting in there thinking about all the things I could have been doing instead.
Hope you all have a fabulous day.0
