Whoop Whoop Whoop - I have managed to bring my business overdraft to within the agreed limits with a payment of the remainder of my ebay takings:cool: I am still overdrawn but now I won't be charged £20 a time:cool:

Ebay items will be relisted and the quest continues for work and money.

Back with the boys - did I stick to my £10 - nope LOL

£3,70 on ten packs of rice cakes
    £7.00 on a haircut
    £1.29 on a Xmas Pudding

    Total = 11.99 - Mmmmmm!!!

However Mum is taking us through to the Science Museum tomorrow and is driving, so I shall pack four packed lunches and I have drinks bottles, soooooooo - should be able to get away with tomorrow being the cost of a couple of coffees!

So £20 is winging its way to the Big Horse Debt - quick shufty, think that takes me down to £860 to go - getting close ladies, getting close.

Now off to feed the boys an eggie tea (well they have been at the buffet) and pack the lunches, throw us all through the shower and then, yup!!! you guessed it - More Sofa time.

How do you think crochet end caps for sofas would look?

Yay have squeezed in a haircut and amazed how much I always forget how good a haircut feels. Am now ready to tackle the world....

...well the housework/schoolwork/reading/bath/bedtime usual stuff anyway.

Have let the class have a relatively easy day of it today and managed to munch my way through a few major frogs that have been hanging around making a bad smell. Finally feel like I'm making headway with the school mountain - at long last. Sorry haven't really read through everyone's posts but got to keep moving.

Just realised Happy Birthday Firewalker :)

  • Happy Birthday Firewalker! I hope you've been having a lovely time today.

A quiet day here for me. Lots of reflecting on how to design my life once the house is sold. Where I move to needs to be somewhere where my passions and interests will be met, particularly re environmental and post peak oil activities - so I'm now thinking again and looking at a Transition Town. Early days, but I'm having fun researching what's happening there and what I could contribute to. It's also closer to where I currently work, and near to two good friends, one of whom has friends in the area.

It's freeeezing here tonight - time to put another layer on and make a hot drink.

Hope you have a good day out tomorrow, MG.

Might be listing my old DVDs on Music Magpie - I figure that any money I get would be useful at the mo even though they offered me 92p for some of them when I enquired before...I just haven't had time to do a carboot.

Might it be worth a quick check on Amazon to see if you'll get better prices there? It's quite easy to become an Amazon seller and there is a postage contribution. Then again, it means you have the DVD's hanging around until they sell and have multiple trips to the post office instead of just one to MM.

Glad to hear the Atherstone job was worth forwarding:D
