The Matrix - Re-Evolution!!

Morning Matrix. I feel so tired this morning, it isn't funny. I have crawled into work but feel really rather crap, so considering not going to Choir tonight and instead going home and curling up on the sofa. Oh wait... maybe not... I have tonnes of work to do at home because Hubby has not bothered to do anything in the house this weekend. Choir is looking appealing now.
Have a hard week at work ahead of me. I have a feeling that whatever has been brewing and bubbling under the surface at work is about to go ... BOOM! I hope it does, so we can clear the air and get on with working again. Hopefully i will not be involved in the aforementioned explosion... but I might be collateral damage. Hopefully not!!
Have a positive day ladies. I'll let you know if we get an offer on our house! I am not sure we will. But I am hopeful!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -

Morning Matrixettes
Having another day of panic with zero money but I did ring the bank and ask them to shift my rent payment to the end of the month (at least landlord is still getting the rent in the month it is due but he is getting it at the end instead of the beginning).
Only managed to list 9 items on fleebay yesterday - 2 bids received already but ideally I would like more than what I have asked as a tempter. One item (my hotel stay) has 9 watchers. My Clarins stuff has no watchers yet but I am hoping that folks will start looking - all marked at a tempting price and none of them used, all still sealed...some of these are things that I have bought but a fair few are freebies.
One load of washing done and on the line - I never realised I had so much stuff that needed washing:o
Need to go to quacks to pick up prescription (have run out of eye drops) and then I will venture into Tesco clutching my luncheon vouchers and my mobile phone which has a message from Tesco saying they take them in all their stores. I don't need much just clover, milk, pastry, tin of meat pie filling.
Need to ring council too - that is my next job.0 -

Horace - Tesco's do take LVs, I use them every month, if the assistant look vacant (which they often do), tell them to put it through as a coupon and to scan the small barcode rather than the large one.0

Went to quacks - prescription not ready until 3pm but as I had parked on Sainsbugs Carpark, I nipped in and used my Nectar card plus a £1 LV and 15p change to buy some cravendale milk, carrots, their own version of clover and some chicken thighs with drumsticks (they were cheaper than the pack of chicken thighs even though I get the same number in the mixed bag).
The assistant looked vague in Sainsbugs anyway - will have to try Tesco tomorrow when I go to the village with my prescription.
Managed to get through to the council re my housing benefit - they are sooooo slow, I sent them my information ages ago and they have only just gotten around to looking at it. I informed them that my circumstances have changed and that I am now signing on the dole so now I have to write to them saying when I stopped working and how I have supported myself in the meantime and provide proof (when I have it) that I am getting dole money it seems that the signing on book is insufficient evidence). I have been listed as having nil income.
Doing what I can to find work - if only I had £3.60 to get the bus to the city centre as I know a coffee shop who are looking for staff and they want the CV to be presented in person.
Just wishing I could have a change of mood, I am constantly feeling low (this is mostly fear and worry and anger). Now fretting about car tax which is not due til December..:(0 -
One baby step at a time Horace - if you feel really stuck go back and read some of the "Make do and Mend" stuff from a couple of years ago.
The ladies we so helpful and supportive when I was left with "71p and three nappies" - teaching me how to keep one foot in front of the other and keep charging through the problems.
23 months on I am within spitting distance of having cleared 10k of debt (business guarantee) and have a better quality of life now than I ever had - less money but better quality.
Keep working the plan
MG
