Hi girls, still nae job news. In tonight with a curry and off to get a haircut and home to Mummys tomorrow for the night. I'm struggling. Hugs to newbies X

All this talk of sewing has made me remember some fleecy tops that I had from Primark back when I was thinner than I am now (for some reason my boobies have grown:eek::o) - they would make lovely cushion covers. Must admit that I cannot sew for toffee as I cannot see to thread the needle. They may be free to a good home if anyone wants them for sewing.

Positive vibes were sent earlier to those that needed them.

I have kicked some butt today and now have more auction items and one of my other chums has donated a radio style ad that he will voice, produce and set to music.

I received payment for some medical research which I have put in business bank as a small way to reduce the overdraft...will be busy listing tomorrow and sunday - I have stuff like Philips WakeUp Lamp (it can have birdsong, radio or something else), Juicy Couture pendant, wedding stuff...am sick of the sight of it.

Need to work on that application form too - can't do it tonight because I had a cold drink - and the only thing I had in the fridge was a mini bottle of White Zinfandel which got glugged (this is the first drink I have ever had when I have been on my own in my own place..horror of horrors).

Ladies, I think you might have come up trumps with those positive vibes. In fact... I think the blokey will be making an offer, unless I am very much mistaken!!! Am very excited...! Trying to keep my feet on the ground though. Am going to surf some property websites after I post this... and hubby might be getting a promotion at work as well!! Wow. For a day that was pretty crappy.... it has ended with a HUGE positive...! And I don't need to clean my house over the weekend because it is clean as a whistle!!

Well pink is out of the washing machine - exact same colour as the pink strip in Neopolitain ice-cream. Just the thing to go with my Attic24 inspired crochet blanket.

Just cleaning the machine and then the spring green will go on.

Loving these links - there is a whole world of creativity out there - now we just need to figure out how to do it with no pennies. I am even thinking that I might make a media centre and coffee table to match. I have some 4 x 4 in the attic and some scrap wood, I could get away with just buying something chunky for the tops. That way I might be able to afford some carpet before Christmas too.

Souk, I have been popping in and out specifically to see how you are getting on. Chin up you will get there. I hate to think of you struggling. Hope that the weekend sees you feeling a bit mollycoddled by your Mum and you start to feel a bit better.

Glad you missed me manic conference with no time to get online (apart from auto-login to FB), but hopefully very successful. Had a press intervieew today and PR told me AFTER that they don't have final approval on the text... I can't remember whether what I said is consistent with my published position
