MG - love the coffee table, but not the price tag
Horace, I have always had my PC via paypal without problems. I like the linked in stuff - oddly enough we had a big discussion at work about how we dont use it enough last week. I have my thinking hat on about things that may be an opportunity for you.
Crickett, everything crossed for you.
Sorry busy week - not caught up at all. DS2s bedroom is nearly done though, just need to find some cash for materials so we can carry on. Need to sort out DHs tax, due a lot back that way.

Both our families love a good pizza.
I have got pink fabric on the go now - most excited I have been about a washing machine in years :rotfl::rotfl: If I pull off a £3 sofa makeover I will be amazed.
Good luck Crickett - its dead on six now so fingers crossed and candles lit.

So so loving the weather.

MG can't wait for you to do your sofas as I need to do mine.
I've been eating frogs, amazing how easy they are to gobble up if you set your mind to it.
Off out to bingo (school pta thing) this evening, let's hope I win some cash. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Good luck Crickett and a big boot for Thrifty. Welcome to all the new ladies and I am sure you will find lots of vibes here.
MG, loving the patchwork stuff. I have been building up to covering a couple of Parker Knoll fireside chairs in a patchwork style but I am a wee bit scared as it will be the first upholstery I have done so I am procrastinating. I have been for over 12 months. Try taking a look on Cath Kidstone and John Lewis websites as you can send for free samples of fabric. Not really big patches that arrive but they might be nice to add in somewhere. As for the table, lots of people have done exactly that makeover on the shabby chic thread that Ellie posted. It's a great thread with lots of advice on there. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Ahh I am another one who needs to make slipcovers for a sofa that used to be white  I am a big time sewing novice so waiting for some tips
I just got my sewing machine from Gran at Christmas, and it has already had to be repaired once! Am going to start small with a pencil case, then a cushion, and try some patchwork quilting too. I thought this site is amazing patchwork quilt !!!!!!!!

<peeks head round door>
Evening all, I've been missing in action from here for a while, occasionally lurking in the background and not saying anythingHad to have a bit of an internet fast, then a bit of creeping back in slowly, as I was being entirely overwhelmed for a while there and other things were suffering... But since I was lurking anyway I thought I'd best stick my head up and say hi
Especially since I disappeared without saying bye...
It was all this talk of patchwork chairs that did it - made me remember this one - how jolly! Can't wait to see what you come up with MG

Totally exhausted but deadline met - paper is re-submitted and it is really hot. If this people do not publish it this is their loss; paper going to another journal and that is that.
Drink anybody? Or shall I see my family before they collectively divorce me.

Okay missus, am snapped out of CBA-itis and have set to it - still not quite achieving butterflies of excitement. What I didn't tell you was that I was out last night with a friend and had a little too much vino-collapso - can't blame anyone else but myself. Good job it is so beautiful here today, I have been able to wear my sun-glasses.
Right, back to it - stands up gently
Old boot, new boot doesn't matter - I love my job as a boot and this is what really counts.
Hope you had fun - I went to see my friends but had half a bottle of beer and was back home by 22.30. This morning I was at my desk at 6.12 -now this my fiends is self booting.
