Souk, no offence taken. Sociologists and statisticians are particularly bad. Whenever I take OH with me to a conference we play 'spot the...' and never fail. It is also the aura of being slightly lost and 'out of it'.

I can admit it! I, myself, am an example of simple elegance and timeless fashion - the ones who have met me can attest to it. I just don't like changing for dinner, this is all.

I've made a note of the phrase 'an example of simple elegance and timeless fashion' to use myself. It's very good.

I do think we dress to fit in with our peers and the accepted dress code. Me, I'm a maverick. I never wear a skirt. This is partly because my legs and feet are not a pretty sight, I have to wear 'sensible' shoes with supports and I have built my image to fit this.

But I do try for 'simple elegance and timeless fashion'. You do have a way with words!
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Its true - but eating dinner in her pj's was a touch too casual in my opinion :rotfl::rotfl: but the elegant string of pearls were a lovely touch:D

    I bet it is:

    A. Clean
    B. Well fitting
    C. Co-ordinating
    D. Perfectly accessorised...

Amazingly I don't have food down my fleece today (I just checked... :rotfl:)

Vegetables cooked with barley, lentils and stock. Must remember to decant and freeze in the morning when it is cool. My taxi arrives at 7am so I'll have to be up early to do all my last bits and pieces...
  • Bon voyage, Greenbee, hope your trip is a great success! ;)
If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

  • Hope it all goes well, greenbee! :)

Am very proud: made a very tasty beef roast with all the trimmings - including my own Yorkshire's - and it was seriously scrummy! :D

Must do some work, not just watch X Factor. And give doggie SunFlower an extra walk. Oh, and change my bedding.

But extra X Factor...oh, the temptation!
