Hi ladies - I'm just back from my first day of my new job. Nobody died (me included), which is a relief, and I feel that I might be able to do it after all, despite numerous wibbles before I started. *sighs with relief*

I'm feeling much better today after talking to OH, and I'm meeting a friend for a walk tomorrow morning, then having reflexology and after that I'll be getting ready to see OH as he'll be appearing sometime on Thursday. I need to do a bit of tidying and make something nice for supper. I have a lot of fennel, so it may well feature...0 -

My mum put a ton of fennel in a soup she made a little while back - t'was spectacular, but wouldn't like it with everything. Especially edible OHs.

Wow HL, so brave. Glad you're feeling better GB and glad the first day at work went well Sunflower.
I got a final interview date today. Its next week so I'll keep you posted. VIE first day back, sewage from my shop is running down next doors walls, theres a huge crate on my shopfloor and we cant use our toilets, oh and its stocktake tomorrow. Apart from that Im grand! SunFlower - I have a kg of fennel, as I wasn't concentrating when I did my order (luckily I can blame illness... Apparently ferretin depletion causes impaired cognitive ability aka extreme dippiness). As for OH, well, he's not to everyone's taste, but I'm quite happy about that!
