  • Best wishes to Hovel lady, sorry if it's a wee bit late.

Nice to see you Crickett, was wondering how you were getting on.

How is ds1 today MG? You do a fabulous job parenting so hope you feel better too.

Just been into school with dd to see the head teacher. He has signed her off for Art, Theatre Studies and Chemistry. There may be a possibility that the blocks will change after the sixth form teacher's meeting next week, so her choices for her fourth A-level may yet change in her favour. If not she has agreed (grudgingly, poor man , she shows no fear my dd :T) to study Biology to AS level.
  • Just lost half my post  but cba to retype. Off to do something productive and wash some dishes.

    Afternoon all.
Crickett, - sorry that you had a bad week. Counselling can be very difficult at times, mind you just finding yourself is difficult and emotional. Hope that the break is good for you and gives you time to work things through. If you ever get the opportunity to go onto a Springboard for Women course I would highly recommend it. It is a 3 month course, working together with other women on a workbook and exercises. It changed my life. Why not check it out and see if your employer would be up for bringing a tutor in to deliver it to a group of you. http://www.springboardconsultancy.com/springboard.htm I would love to become a tutor of this course. I still return to my workbook 8 years later when I need to reflect and regroup.

Fantasia, good to see you back and posting. Hope that you are being kind to yourself and that things are moving in the right direction. Have been thinking of you.

Welcome Kimsmum. Well done on getting the book without having to put your name on the waiting list. Is that a sign that you are ready to learn? I think so. Your life is about to change I can sense it.

Just because I am a little OCD - I have been to the bank to pay in 50p to round up my Savings pot to £40.

.................. I think I have now officially lost it LOL

    MG

Nope, makes a lot of sense to me. And it cost them lots to process it.

My Grandma used to pay dirty notes back in till she got some nice clean ones.

I want The Secret, and Hovel in the Hills. Sat in my hands to not buy them. I don't have the spare money at all, and even reserving them from the library is £1. I refuse to pay it, especially for a large print edition that is locked away in storage somewhere!

I am off to clean the freezer out. I did the fridge on the right day but really should extend it to the freezer.

Now that is a challenge to the Universe :T:T:T So much positivity in that statement I can feel it from here.

Is it just me or is this group gathering more force again? I know this sounds silly but I have that butterfly of anticipation feeling.
