MG i love the idea of your lunch menus

My DS3 has a mix of school dinners and pack ups. Roughly half and half. We have the 3 week school menu stuck on the wall and on the days he likes the hot meal he has it. He doesn't really like sandwiches so has sausage rolls one day and a crusty roll and chunks of cheese the other. Always 2 pieces of fruit/veg and usually a plain biscuit like digestive, malted milk etc. He is not great with changes either.

I've done well with today's paperwork.
Done all the bits of hand washing
    cleaned some shoes
sorted a few more bits from the pile
DH took stuff to the scrap store and OOD medicines to the pharmacy whilst he was out
Got rid of a large bag of outgrown shoes which were in decent condition to the shoe shop yesterday (a pilot pops in and flies them over to an orphanage overseas which is great).

Just going to make some tomato soup and then get all the stuff down from the loft for the carboot - dreading it.

Logs delivered and I got half chopped and stacked before the heavens opened! The log store is full... So the rest have been stacked against the fence inside the gate and have a tarpaulin over them.

6 stuffed peppers frozen and 3 pots of pasta sauce. I have also finished making up the chocolate cake into puddings to freeze.

Now I need to warm up and dry out before getting on with the paperwork challenge... (shredder is in the shed with snails living in it and I am NOT going out in the rain again...
  • Im just about to watch the secret DVD :-) happy shredding all :-) x

Completely exhausted myself chopping the logs so haven't achieved anything else bar emptying the DW and putting stuff away. Cleaner has been in touch to say she'll be here at 8.30 on Monday, so I need to get on and get things tidied up today and tomorrow so she can clean!

Might just have another sleep first though...

Well I can't cook for the entire Matrix - but why don' I use this as the first "challenge" on the MFi3 blog?

Costed and easy to prep packed lunches - because DS1 and I have got 6 lunch menus that we rotate through according to the seasons.

Mostly stuff is prepped at the beginning of a rotation ( balls of pita bread dough, portions of dal etc_ and frozen to be nuked either at work (ok home for me or in to food flasks for DS1)

    What do you think?

    MG

Sorry, I have been out all day but this sounds fantastic if it is not too much trouble for you?

You may remember that I asked you for positive vibes recently for my daughter who had a DLA medical. Today we got the letter - and she has been awarded High rate mobility and high rate care indefintely.

I cannot tell you how much this means to her. If anyone had seen us when she opened the letter (we were in the car at the time) they would have thought we had received bad news as we were both crying our eyes out!

So thank you for the vibes that came our way.

That's great news tenmah, not that your daughter NEEDS them but that being in need she GOT them (I really need the care component as well but I am scared of losing the mobility section so I haven't applied!)
