Afternoon diary,
Im feeling a bit more like my old self today, last week I had a cold which was on my chest and I didn't feel well at all, so exercise went right out of the window.
Tonight I will do some exercise before DD gets home and then I will do some tomorrow and wednesday with an hour long boot camp on Sunday! I will squeeze into my dress.
Put the decs up with DD on Saturday morning, we have put the solar lights in the tree outside and it looks fab. They are only in sunlight for about 2 hours a day so not sure how long they will last.
I had another night out on Saturday night, I went to watch a band but I was home by 12. Needless to say I was a bit rough yesterday. When DD went out with ex I tidied, wrapped pressies, cleaned and did all the washing and drying (including bedding) in a day! I love my tumble dryer.
Pamper day Wed, House viewing Thurs, Santa Fri and granparents Sat...sleep Sunday ha ha.
Hi Mummy,
Hope you're OK. Aw the floods were a nightmare, most of the roads were closed off, it took everyone ages to get home from work and then back in again the next day.

Hi Everyone,
Happy New Year!
I was so excited about starting a New Year, then I came into work to find that the business wasn't doing very well and there were to be job cuts this year. On a positive note the business are all going to work their socks off to make as much money as possible over the next year so it might not be so bad.
Anyway I've rang the estate agents this morning to offer money towards the stamp duty to entice buyers. Hopefully it will get more interest.
Ex paid the whole car installment this month...YIPPPPEEEE!!!! He still hasn't signed the consent order though to get the money situation agreed and legal. I have until June to sell the house before he decides he isn't going to pay the mortgage anymore.
Right, money! I have already gone £30 over my food monthly budget...accidentally. I will take the money from a different pot for now. I have enough food to last the month (and most of next), with the odd top up of milk to take us to month end.
I have £80 in my everything else pot to last 3 weeks, but there isn't anything we need to buy now.
Bought all next years Xmas wrapping paper, cards and tags in Tesco yesterday (half price) and birthday cards for 25p each.
Car is back in the garage tomorrow, its the same problem and I have a feeling the outcome will be the same too.
I decided to go on the wagon and stayed off the wine last night. It was so hard watching DOI with an orange juice. Think I have a problem lol.

Morning Livvy,
Happy New Year!!!!
Oh dear to the news of the business, hopefully they can turn it around. My organisation is running on very limited funds, we currently have money until next January so this time next year I could be out of a job. Not thinking about it just yet and paying off whatever we can.
Yay to Ex paying the car!!! I suppose its a start!!
I had to laugh about your drink problem comment. I hardly ever drink in the house, infact I bought a bottle of white on Friday 21st to celebrate finishing work and theres still a 1/3rd of the bottle in the fridge! All the wine DH brought home from work is in the fridge too!! It will save for a BBQ or something!!

Morning Diary,
Its pretty grey here today and raining.
Car is in the garage as we speak, the mechanic is going to see if he can narrow down the problem and if not then he will just change both of the sensors. I'm probably looking at £200 or more if both need changing. But I need a reliable car.
Hi Mummy,
I know, its bad when you can't just sit and watch TV with a cuppa lol. I think my wine keeps me sane, I only have one or two glasses on my own just to chill out, maybe stretch to 3 glasses on a weekend...party on! Tonight Im having orange juice.
All my finances are straight now and I am sure I don't need anything else this month (well apart from my car being fixed), so hopefully I will get to pay day with minor spends. Then next month its a council tax free month so I should be able to build my pots up and hopefully I will only need to fill my car up once this month which will mean a spare £60 to stash in my car pot.
My pension payment goes up this month which works out to be £27 more out of my wage packet after tax. Its not as bad as I thought so thats good.
Feeling quite positive today, even with all the negatives because I know this year is gonna be a good one.

Hope car is fixed cheaply.
A slimming world tip from years ago was most wine is drunk out of habit not want so make a glass of Ribera/lemonade (depend white or red) and drink it in an actual wine glass ..... Never worked for me as I don't really drink but the other ladies swore by it! Ou could alternate the glass one pop one wine reducing the money pent ?
