Morning diary,
Aching all over today, I have been very good and I am sticking to my exercise routines...it takes my mind off everything else for now.
Money is OK, I keep seeing bargains on Groupon though and buying things to put in my new house, if I ever get a buyer for mine lol. Bought some cutlery and some home phones. I need a tumble dryer too so I have doubled up my Tesco vouchers.
Solicitor has had to chase ex as he hasn't been forthcoming replying to my offer. He will be trying to drag it out so he misses another full payment on the car...I don't think so mate.
I have still only used just under a quarter of a tank of petrol since I filled up on 27th Oct, I am excited to see if I can get a whole month out of one tank.
I got my free flu jab at work yesterday and today I am going for my free health check...eek!

Hi Diary,
Hope everyone is well.
I've had a busy weekend with DD, the only thing now is I feel totally disorganised as I have been out all weekend instead of doing jobs lol.
I will do my ironing tonight when I get in before DD gets home then I will feel a bit better.
Hi Mummy,
Oh I so can't wait until I get rid of him. I will ring solicitors again this week and see if there is any progress. I haven't seen him all weekend so thats a bonus!
Made a chicken tagine in the slow cooker yesterday. I have had the left overs for my lunch today and I feel really full.
Popped to Mr Als yesterday and spent a bit more than planned, I did get another beef wellington though which wasn't on the list but I love them. I am also going to give their toilet rolls a go although £3.99 is quite expensive for 9 rolls.
I have bought a tumble dryer YEY! So excited, I doubled up my clubcard points so got £30 off. Its a C class as opposed to an A class but the difference was £170 and I have worked out that I won't use £170 in kwh.
Petrol is now half a tank...can she do it? Oh the suspense lol.
One more weekend until payday...think I had better stay in until payday arrives.

Hi Diary,
Im so over excited about Christmas today ha ha...think its because the last two years have been so upsetting for me.
DM and I are going to the toy shops on Sunday to finish off DD's pressies, this year we are going to have sack pressies (we used to do it as a kid), where we have little ones to open thoughout the day.
Hoping to have HM beef in yorkshire pud and gravy for tea tonight...before I embark on my aerobics.
Nothing to report money wise, I feel like its in one hand out of the other at the moment.
Ex mentioned he wanted to drop the house price last night...hmmmm, only if some one pays his own car!

Hi Diary,
OK well its now been 3 weeks since I offered ex 50/50 on the house if he pays his car immediately. I called the solicitors and they haven't heard anything so I have given him one more week to reply or else the offer is withdrawn.
Its been 6 months since we were meant to go to mediation and he is loving stringing it out so I pay more payments on that effing car...well no more Mrs Nice!
I am really pleased today, the man called last night to say he didn't have the phones I wanted in stock so he has cancelled my order...this turned out to be a good thing as I have used the money and bought some towels in the Debenhams sale (have had mine since we moved into new house in 2006 lol), I got them for half price and then got a further 10% off with a code on here. So I am happy.
Going to my friends tonight with DD, we pass a post box so letter to Santa will be going in. She has slept 3 nights in her own bed this week since she told Santa...so hopefully this is a good sign for the future.
Just under half a tank of petrol left with one week and one day to go.

Hi Livvy,
Hope ex replies this week and stops stringing you along. So are you paying for the car he is driving around in?
Im glad DD has been sleeping in her bed this week, long may it continue!!!
Hope youve had a great weekend xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning Diary,
I have just spent the last 20 mins sorting out my accounts lol. I went shopping on Sunday and Ive now finished all DD's pressies. YEY! I paid for everything on my credit card and have just been through everything working out which account the money needs to come from to pay it off.
Pay day Friday! WAHOO. I can't wait. And I have a little bit extra money this month due to the child minder being cheaper...well £35 extra ha ha.
My tumble dryer has arrived, it is currently located in next doors' garage.
Hi Mummy, ex is still making me pay the car and I don't have any access to it. Whats more is that he drives his new girlfriend in it! Iv'e had enough now and I told him so on Sunday! I said until the finances are sorted I am not moving house because it won't be fair to take DD into rented and move twice and if he doesn't accept this week then the deal is off.
It was quite a civil convo and I think we actually got somewhere but we will see what he comes back with...he isn't the sharpest tool in the box.
Petrol light came on this morning...3 days shy of pay day

Morning Diary,
Full of cold today as I have been for at least a week...don't fancy sitting at work really but hey ho!
Money situation isn't too bad. I managed to give my mum another £100 in £2's on Saturday to add to my stash.
Mr Als shop yesterday was £60, however I bought £12.50 bottle of whisky for grandad for Xmas. Mr T shop coming tonight...£93 as I had a £6 off voucher but also got a few Xmas pressies.
Xmas savings now down to £210 with 7 pressies left to buy. Some are cheap kids ones so thats fine.
Ex has agreed to take on payments of his car for 50/50 of the house, only he hasn't managed to pay Decembers car payment as he has bought expensive xmas pressies for his family! I did manage to squeeze £50 out of him though, the cheeky $£%$% tried to make me feel grateful!
Off to solicitors tomorrow to get the agreement written up.

Morning diary,
Well Ive been to the solicitors this morning and discussed mine and ex's plans to split the finances, all that needs to be done now is Solicitor to draw up a consent order and ex to sign it. Divorce will be in Feb and he is going to go halves on the cost.
What I was worried about was ex not paying half the mortgage until the house is sold and solicitor said why don't you go for an interest only mortgage if he does that, it means I won't pay any more off the house but it means I can afford it and ex won't get any of the money Ive paid towards the equity.
So feeling happier than I have in a long time today.
Got a bill for solicitors £672! ouch. However I have paid £600 and due to pay more by direct debit over the next few months so I can't complain.
Cupboards are all full again as Mr T's came last night, thought he wasn't going to make it with all the floods.
DD's childminder has told me that there has been a case of nits! Great.

Hi Livvy,
Im glad youve got it sorted with ex, finally!!
Are you near all the flooding? Hope your all ok. We live at the top of a massive hill so fingers crossed we would never get flooded!
I love it when the cupboards are brimming! xxMummytogirls x0
