    Hi Diary,

    A quick update.

The weekend was fab, I spent £50 on my night out though and was a bit cross that I spent all of Saturday shattered on the sofa.

Yesterday we went for a meal and fed the ducks, and then I had a steady stream of people popping in with pressies all day.

Got an offer on our house on Saturday morning, it was £28k less than what its up for sale for (basically to keep it under stamp duty threshold). Neither myself of ex thought this was a good offer so we refused. I know I want to move out but if I'm to go 50/50 with the capital then I wouldn't be left with much once my car loan had been paid.

So moving on, I have cancelled the other child minder visit tonight, happy with the one I have decided to go with. So myself and DD will take a trip to Mr Al's on the way home.
I will buy lots of low fat food as I need to get healthy now...I'm feeling in the mood, so health food and exercise it is.

    xx

    Morning Diary,

Well I am on a mission this week.

We went to Mr Als for our shopping last night...£65! But I did nearly get all the food for meals for a month (obv need to update fresh stuff). I have also managed to do my Mr T shop...£53 which will come tomorrow. Toilet roll and toothpaste from Poundies so all in all £124.22 on food! I have a £200 budget and I think it should be easy this month. I have enough wine from my birthday to last well into next month too ha ha.

I'm a bit to pot with my money as I paid on my card for Solicitors and thought I would buy food with the cash but as it was a last minute thing I didn't pick the cash up. So cash is still there and food bought...Im staring at my spreadsheet confused.

I didn't get in until 6:15 last night and then had all the food to put away, then I needed to iron DD's uniform so by the time I had done bed time and made tea I was worn out.

Ex been back a day and he has asked to swap days at the weekend already, I have been very brave and said no as I have made plans.

    Morning Livvy,

I am glad you are decided on your childminder and that you are happy.

Did you sort your money situation out?! Cant you pop to the bank and pay the money back in so that you dont end up spending it, like id probably do!!

  • Hi Diary,

Im feeling quite spritely today, I think its because I had a good nights sleep and Im just chilling out for the week. :D

Althought tonight I have Mr T's coming and I need to do my ironing. I should have it done by DD coming home, if not I will finish it whilst she is in the bath as I iron on the landing just at the bathroom door so can keep and eye on her.

Hi Mummy, the money is doing my head in  ha ha. I have written down what I think I have spent and how much I should have in my drawer (forgot to look), I have worked out how much I should have left in my food and petrol budget and then I will move some money around when I spend the cash. My bank is right in the middle of town so I can't just pop there, which reminds me I need to post my birthday cheque tomorrow.

I have installed the 'my fitness pal app' on my phone so I can see how unhealthy I am, I must do some exercise...swapped it for wine last night ha ha. I just want to maintain my weight and it says I can have 1660 calories a day, what shocked me was the fact that my green tea and cod liver oil tablets have 5 calories in each...wonder if the fat fighting clubs take these into account.

I had a NSD yesterday, hopefully will be able to rack up a few more this month as I am being ultra careful.

    Afternoon diary,

Well finally I have worked out how much money I have for the month...I have £164 left in the everything else pot and £76 left for food...this is easily doable as my cupboards are full to the brim so will just need fresh bits.

I got £40 off relatives for my birthday so I will take that shopping with me on Sunday to put towards my winter coat (it can replace what I spent out of that pot on my night out).

Hopefully I will only need one tank of petrol this month...its a close shave though as I need to fill up at the weekend and it normally lasts 21 days which will take me to payday.

Solicitors sent me a Direct Debt form yesterday for £100 a month...money is going to be so tight next month. By December once the child minder has kicked in then its not going to be too bad but I just wish it would end :(.

  • Hi Dairy,
Well its quite cold here today but the sun is shining.

Had a lovely weekend (thanks Mummy), nothing too strenuous, visited the child minder on Saturday and went shopping on Sunday. I bought lots of nice jumpers and some bits for DD, I got everything a size bigger for DD as the leggings will last all winter (she has long legs), although she had some on yesterday and they were hanging round her bottom bless.

Anyway I now have £65 until pay day ha ha, I have food and petrol money and a little bit in all my other pots, but I have no major plans for the rest of the month.

Ex keeps cancelling or swapping his days and I found out why on Sunday. DD told me all about him taking a lady to the park and how they were kissing. Honestly, couldn't he be a bit more discrete around DD?
Its funny as I didn't think I would be bothered about it, but it kind of felt like a kick in the teeth. Im more miffed that he gets to have all the fun whilst I am still sitting in that house waiting for my new life.

    Hi Livvy,

Hope youve had a good week.

IMO I think people should keep new relationships well away from their kids until they know they will stay together etc. I love how these kids dont miss a trick!!!!

    Have a great weekend xx

  • Hi Diary,
I keep forgetting to fill in my diary. Nothing much to report, I had a relatively quiet weekend. Money is tight but I am being very good after my spree last Sunday.

I went to Mr Al's yesterday to top up my fresh stuff, spent £31.04 so I was pleased, and I still have £38 in my food budget. If all goes to plan then I should have £60 for petrol money and £35 from food left to save this month.

I have done my exercise this weekend too so feel well.

Hi Mummy, I totally agree with you and I certainly won't be doing anything of the sort in front of DD until I am certain its a long term relationship and she is comfortable with the situation. Anyway I have just looked in my diary and ex has had DD on 5 different occassions since the 24th Sept...shocking! Incidentally he has cancelled tonight too, so at least I know she isn't being subject to his selfish ways.

Roll on pay day lol. I must start to think about Christmas, I haven't a clue what to get DD...or where I am going to put it for that matter lol. I was panicking again last night about getting all her toys from a big 4 bedroom house into a 3 bedroom aaargh! The spare room it is then.

Need to take Meter readings tonight.

    Hi Livvy,

Its the same old in my diary too at the moment.

Re the C word! Does DD have a leappad? DD1 has asked for one so I think im just going to buy them both one.
Well actually DH mentioned a cheap tablet for them both so he is going to investigate and see. They are a bit young but into these things and id rather buy them something they will actually use!
