Hi Livvy,
Lovely to here you had a nice weekend away in Scarborough, hope you had a donut for me!!
We went to Scarborough last year but ended up at the wrong end and it wasnt until we were driving back through that we realised !!
Wow to you having such a clear out, nice that you gave some things to the nursery too im sure they will really appreciate them.
Boo to ex DH, fingers crossed something else comes up and he cant take her.
Enjoy the rest of your week xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Diary,
Hi Mummy, I had a lovely time last week thanks, and to top it all off we had one of the best days ever at the beach on Saturday.
This week is not such a good week.
I am back at work, the cupboards at home are empty (like my money pots), went to mediation yesterday and they told me it was £180 a session, went home and told ex OH who doesn't want to pay it and then we proceeded to get into an argument about who would get what from the capital. He shouts over the top of me and won't let me get a word in, it looks to me that mediation is probably not the best thing for us anyway as we can't agree on anything...so will end up at the solicitors costing me a fortune. Saying that I will probably come off better there than if we go to mediation because he has an answer for everything and I can't think on my feet.
Anyway he reckons he paid 10k over the odds for the house and Olivia last year so I have printed off the facts and will take that with me as it was more like £200 a month.
I just wish it was all over but I can't see an end. I am not going to discuss anything with him again unless its at mediation.
I sold 5 things on ebay, the rest will go on on Sunday as a bundle. I have designer gear to put on there too so hopefully will make a little more to go towards the seperation.
Going to be very strict with my money this month. Mr T shop is coming on Monday and thats £60. Will pop to Mr Als at some point too to top it up with fridge stuff, my meal plan has been written...just the lunch plan to do now which I find very useful.
DD starts nursery at school on 3rd Sept and then its her birthday shortly after. I need to pay for her party this month so there is another £100 (ex is paying the other half!!!), must remember the party bags and the cakes.
Thats about it from me as I am feeling a bit fed up.

Hi there,
The sun is shining here after a pretty miserable morning.
Pay day YEY! I have filled some of my pots back up but the rest will have to wait until next week when I have a bit more money. I have worked out that if I have two mediation sessions next month thats £374! How do people afford it?
Turned a negative into a positive and thought although I had a fight with ex on phone the other night, I now know what he is going to come out with at mediation so I can be prepared.
I feel a bit rough today, had some wine with a friend when I got in from work and when I put DD to bed I fell asleep. Then I woke up at 2am and had to go downstairs for my phone and to put the alarm on...pj's and tv for me tonight and I can't wait.
Big family party on Sunday, £25 for a meal, DD will be having some of mine as she isn't a big eater.
OMG Just found out that DD's nursery is going to be an extra £200 a month...thats £623!
Can this week get any worse?

Hi Diary,
Well I have sorted my face out and tackled the money situation. Basically I have reduced mine and DD's clothes budget and cancelled the holiday savings to pay for DD's nursery and the mediation sessions...the costs could potentially be an extra £574 in one month. I have DD's party and cake to pay for (£140), luckily I have already bought her presents.
I have taken the buffer money out of my bills account and stashed this in my purse, plus nursery was cheaper last month as she was off for two weeks, this equates to a £275 stash.
I have also emailed the solicitor as I believe that mediation is a waste of money and it might be just as worthwile spending the money on a court appearance. The only person ex is going to take instructions from is a judge, this is quite clear.
I didn't update my diary yesterday as DD dropped my CK perfume in the kitchen and it smashed all over the floor...talk about the straw that broke the camels back.
So to reduce costs as much as possible this month I have a meal plan for lunch and tea, sticking to it rigidly. I need to pop to Mr A's on the 16th of the month to pick up fresh food and some bits for DD's party tea. Other than that and milk I won't need to buy anymore food.
My Petrol only came to £43 this month due to cashback on my credit card. So one more fill up should be around £55 which will leave me £22 to save.
I am determined not to let the git grind me down.
xx
PS I asked said git to help me with the nursery costs and he ignored my text. :mad:LBM March 2011 - [STRIKE]Joint Debt £46k[/STRIKE]Current Personal Debt £0 :jGroceries £152.51/230,Pot Balance £1564.02Christmas Savings £200, £2 savings £240 -
OK so I woke up this morning with a cold, that explains the grotty feeling I have had for a week. I must say though I felt in better spirits as I had an explanation for why I have felt so bad.
That soon changed when I got into work and a male colleague shouted at me in the office (full of about 25 people), he has a very loud voice anyway so not only was I red, I was fighting back the tears. I only asked a simple question !!!!!!.
Then I spoke to DM on the phone and asked her for the money back that she owed me from the weekend then she had a go at me too. What has annoyed me here is that my DM asks for every bit of money back that she has ever paid out for me, but because she has got some money this month she has forgotten about those times and has also forgotten that I need to account for every penny this month so started telling me off for being so tight.
I should just go back to bed.
DD is being a little monster at the moment, she will not do as she is told. Everything is 'No!', its wearing me down a bit with everything else thats going on. I have put the reward chart up which is kind of helping but she constantly wants to know when she is getting her Hello Kitty.
Hope everyone is OK. I am going to start recording my NSD's this month. I reckon I should've been counting Augusts as Im sure I have had quite a few, yesterday and today included.
I can't decided whether to go payday to payday or month to month.

Morning Livvy,
Sounds like you have had a nightmare week, sorry to hear this. Things can only get better (hugs).
Im sure you are but make sure you are documenting everything you ask ex for ie childcare fees. I cannot believe the cost of the mediation that is totally ridiculous, especially in this climate where people generally have no money spare as it is.
We have had to start up a new behaviour chart for DD2 as she was being well naughty too. Seems to be helping so far, must be their age.
Hope your ok anyway, sorry ive not been around, been off this week so out and about xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Diary,
Hi Mummy,
Nice to hear from you. Hope you had a lovely birthday.
I have started to document everything, I just need to sit down and concentrate, I can't think straight when I have it all going round my head so need to do it a bit at a time.
I guess it is there age, pushing the boundaries...and my patience. DD has to have everything her way or not at all grrrr!
Well I had to go home from work yesterday with a dicky tummy
( cold isn't much better either but I had a long nights sleep so thats one good thing.
DD was as good as gold last night but then this morning she was being a little s0d again. She didn't manage to get a sticker for getting dressed as she spent 2 mins fighting about it, she did have a last minute rush but didn't make it on time before the timer so then there was tears.
Two of my ebay items are selling YEY! Most of the others have watchers, if they don't sell then they are going in the charity bag. I will get DD's baby clothes out of the loft and get the whole lot on next week.
I will draw out some more cash from the bank today...to add to my stash. Popping to Mr Al's on the way home for wine and milk. They are getting lots of anti wrinkle cream in on the 6th Sept so Im going to splash out seeing as though I'm another year older soon.
Its freezing in my office today...!!!!!!?

Hi Diary,
Well I have been to big school nursery this morning for DD's first day. She looked so grown up in her Uniform and she was past herself with excitement. I was crying lol. She had a great time and she has kept her uniform on for preschool nursery so everyone could see it.
I will take her and pick her up for the next two days but after that preschool will do it as I start work around 8 and school doesn't start until 8:45...the joys of working full time NOT.
I had a house viewing yesterday, I only found out on Saturday so had to get up yesterday with a hangover and mow the lawn. Actually I was a very lucky girl as my neighbour came over and offered to do it for me. Not sure his wife was happy mind you. He made light work of it though and had it done in half the time it would have taken me.
The viewing seemed OK, I think the man preferred the house more than the lady.
Made £80 on eBay this week YEY! I will package everything up and post it when I have dropped DD off at school tomorrow...if everyone pays on time. I will draw the money out for that during the week.
Next weekend I will load on DD's baby clothes.
I didn't spend a lot this weekend and thats including the takeaway for one (£7.20 lol) I ordered last night. I think I spent £17.20. I did order DD some autumn clothes from Next but only because I was ordering my friend a present at the same time...to save on the delivery charge. They haven't arrived yet so I won't pay until next weekend.
DD's attitude has changed considerably this weekend with the reward chart. Also she is determined to impress her teachers and keeps asking me to tell them how good she has been ha ha.

Hi Diary,
Well today I have taken DD to school and popped out of work to pick her up, she seems to love it bless her. Although it might be better for the nursery teachers where she is now to pick her up every day, as she wanted to go home with me today bless her...we have so many chats about why mummy has to go to work aswell.
Child benefit went in today so that covers DD's new clothes.
I have 4 packages to take to PO with ebay sales. I emailed the people who hadn't paid and they said they might collect instead, so I will drop 3 packages off after I take DD to school tomorrow.
I had fahitas for tea last night before the sour cream goes off. Going out for tea tonight with neighbour and the kids.
I have made a list for DD's party and I have made a list for what I need to buy before DD's birthday, I couldn't sleep last night with everything going on in my head so I need to get in control. At least with everything going on this week it takes my mind off the dark side of my life lol.
Spreadsheet updated. Money in order. £45.60 left for food.

Hi Diary,
Its been a busy day today, DD has been to school and I dropped her off, went to work for 2 hours and then went to pick her up and take her to her normal nursery...she has settled in really well so I won't be doing that run anymore. Well until next year anyway.
We popped home to take DD's uniform off on the way to nursery so whilst I was there I hung my washing out.
My neighbour took my ebay parcels to the PO for me today as she was taking her things. So thats a job out of the way.
I have written DD's party invites, just need to hand them out now. Then tonight I will go online and order some cupcake cases, hello kitty rice papers and 4 candles (like The Two Ronnies ha ha).
DD has been asking me what we are doing tonight. We're staying in and I can't wait! Early night for DD and a nice bath as I forgot to turn the water on the other night so I couldn't do the washing or bath her bless...hope the teachers don't think who is that mucky kid. I have now set the water timer for twice a day.
There is a Royal Visitor at work today.
