  • Hi ladies

I'm at the coo's tail as usual!

    I've got a few UU

Nivea Night Cream - little size - WIBA? I didnt buy it, I think DD got it in a goodie bag when she did Race for Life. I do like this. Its got a nice texture and fragrance.

Arran Aromatics Body Lotion with Mandarin and Mint - 50ml - WIBA? Shock, surprise, I didnt buy it, it was a gift. I usually like Arran Aromatics, but not so keen on the smell.

OUTs - Benefit Gorgia and Bourjois Blush which I donated on the swapsies list...sorry, cant remember real names and MSE names!

I am very pleased to say that it was my birthday last week and I didnt get any toiletries! How good is that?

Away to have a shower and hopefully chuck out a spluttering shower gel :D
  • A couple of small UU's both from latest in beauy - Lumenesse shampoo and conditioner sachets, not really enough to comment but it was ok.

Murad blemish cleanser, gel and moisturiser sachets, I could be tempted to buy the full versions of these although wasn't to keen on the smell.

Another UU for me - Body Shop Aqua Lily body lotion - WNBA, was okay but there are other scents that I prefer (not even sure you can still buy this?). Now moving onto Thierry Mugler body lotion and will use the matching shower gel too. Horrid old lavender shower gel is now back in the cupboard!

    Hey everyone.
Feeling a bit blurgh at the moment.I have Pityriasis Rosea on top of the M.E and I'm itching like crazy and I'm all headachy.
    Haven't UU anything in a while.:o

Not sure if it would help you, but a few years ago I ended up with scabies:o and Eucerin cream was a life saver. You can buy it off the shelf in the supermarket usually somewhere near the E45 cream.

Just to explain, my husband is a carer and he caught them from an elderly person who had neglected themselves for a long time. He then past them to me probably via  :rotfl:.

Having been married for exactly 7 years at that time it certainly made me extra itchy:rotfl:.

Scabies is horrible! I had it as a child and I had to be hospitalised because it was so bad.

Thanks for the tip. :) Will try and get some asap.
I'm coming up in more of the spots and patches now.:(

Happy Birthday skintscotslass - and Hugs for everyone who needs them !! Lady M, I had very bad urticaria all over my thighs - if what you have got at the mo is anywhere near as hateful as mine was (it was huge, inflamed and weeping and really painful - i couldnt wear anything remotely like trousers because it just made things much much worse and got stuck and i had to peel them off) then I really feel for you.

    welcome newbies !! xx

    The itching is excruciating! :(
Apparently my case isn't typical because mine started on my legs but it's increasing to my bikini line  and all my skin is really itchy!
I tried calamine lotion and that didn't help one bit!

Hi LM, would bathing in a warm bath with bicarb of soda help? I was given this tip when my daughter had chicken pox and it really eased the itching.

Thank you Rosemary54 and Fiasco55, I did not succumb to temptation. I closed the page. Thank you again ladies.
I will wait for the next offer.

Very wise. As mentioned before TBS offers are coming in thick and fast at the mo. They are probably the only company riding the recession I reckon due to all the offers they have on.

2 more UUs for me: 1 Dove deodorant - WNBA took too long to dry. Have replaced this with an Avon one. 2 Elemis Melting Cleansing Gel - have another one in the stash but WNBA after its use.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

There's even been a riot in my biscuit tin.
A Bandit called Rocky who was Crackers, hit a Penguin over the head with a Club,
Tied him to a Wagon Wheel with a Blue Riband, kidnapped Trophy and made a Breakaway in a Taxi. The police say Rocky was last seen After Eight in Maryland, Hobnobbing with a Ginger Nut.
Unfortunately they didn’t have a crumb of evidence so the Jammy Dodger got away

had a lovely surprise yesterday when the Waitrose delivery man handed me a bouquet of flowers as a thank you for my 100th online shop with them:jgreat customer service
  • Sorry to hear about your sister sawan :(

    Happy (belated?) birthday skintscotslass!

LadyMorticia, I'm not sure if it would be too much due to the various essential oils in it, but I swear by Lush's Dream Cream when my eczema is playing up in the winter and really itchy. They make a body wash of it as well callled Dreamwash.
