Hi LM, would bathing in a warm bath with bicarb of soda help? I was given this tip when my daughter had chicken pox and it really eased the itching.
Very wise. As mentioned before TBS offers are coming in thick and fast at the mo. They are probably the only company riding the recession I reckon due to all the offers they have on.
2 more UUs for me: 1 Dove deodorant - WNBA took too long to dry. Have replaced this with an Avon one. 2 Elemis Melting Cleansing Gel - have another one in the stash but WNBA after its use.
Only problem is that I can't get in the bath for health issues.:o
Do you think showering with it might help?minerva_windsong wrote: »Sorry to hear about your sister sawan
Happy (belated?) birthday skintscotslass!
LadyMorticia, I'm not sure if it would be too much due to the various essential oils in it, but I swear by Lush's Dream Cream when my eczema is playing up in the winter and really itchy. They make a body wash of it as well callled Dreamwash.
I'll have a look. I'll try anything!2019 Wins

Have a freebie in today, won a garnier 3 in 1 wash, scrub and mask for blemish prone skin. Full size tube, this will be used by DH and me, sometime in the next 5 years. Also got my avon order yesterday so 4 ins there too:
Daily correcting lotion, clarifying toner pads and scrub, all from the clearskin range and also liquid wax hair styling spray. As usual something was damaged, the foil lid on the toner pads was torn (this is nothing to do with the post though) and the top pads had dried out, everything I receive from avon has some sort of packaging damage, when I was a representative it was a nightmare.
Also today in the post I received a replacement bottle of S&G clean on me, I e-mailed them about the curdled one and they replaced, now I have to decide whether to chuck the other or use it up.
Lady morticia, nothing useful to add (other than would piriton help), hope it settles down soon. The devil makes works for idle hands0 -

Was your Avon order an online one or via a rep? Please do tell them about it - either by requesting your rep does a replacement for you, or by emailing customer services. Packaging damage is really rare nowdays so if you keep getting problems you're really unlucky.
Can't remember if I've posted (apart from putting my list up) since getting back from the beer festival. All went well, our bar sold out of beer 6 hours before the festival closed so we were happy bunnies as we got the rest of the day to deal with our clearing up! Managed a few UU's of mini products too - a Sanex Shower gel, a BS conditioner and a mini nivea deodorant.
One UU to report from this morning - my Clinique Liquid Soap facial wash - WIBA? - I probably would, although would have to question whether it is enough better than any other to justify the price. I now have a mini sanctuary wash to go on to.

Happy belated birthday skintscotslass
Hope you had a great time.
Thanks minerva - she's still shaken up and doesn't want to go out in case they come back. I went to see her last night and she was doing the heartbreaking job of listing the missing things.
LM I'm sorry that I have no useful advice, but I hope it eases off soon.
EH Glad to hear it all went well!
Rosemary, that 'riot' made me laugh
Started the Mandara Spa sugar scrub, it feels very gloopy but seems to be slightly scrubbier than the shower scrub. It hasn't got particles as such though iykwim? Weird.
I am currently using a Rimmel sexy curves mascara I won ages ago, and have another two black ones on the go (a full size boots trial one and a mini Clinique high impact. I have at least 4 in stash. Please somebody tell me I do not need to buy Benefit's They're Real. I don't even wear mascara everyday. I'm also having real issues with my not buying any nail varnishes. As in, I'm beginning to feel my willpower waning. And the same goes for eyeshadows.
I think I have a problem.

Just spotted your post about your sister Sawan - what an awful thing to happen, although thank goodness they returned home when they did! Considering they were actually disturbed, likelihood would seem to be that they are unlikely to return as they've already nearly been caught there once.....chances are they can't be 100% certain in their own minds whether in fact they might have been seen...🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thank you everyone for your kind words. Managed to have a shower today as I haven't been able to have one in a while
and just had to shave my legs. I hadn't shaved them in a while as the Pityriasis Rosea is affecting my legs and I didn't want to cut myself where the patches are but I just couldn't have hair legs any longer.:o Thankfully everything was okay but I'm coming out in more of them now! Hope it goes asap.

Apologies for being AWOL this week - I'm not wellManaged to drag myself to my long-awaited hospital appointment yesterday and have been given Tramadol - haven't managed to eat anything since but not sure if that's the reason?!
I got a definate diagnosis of CFS/CPS (again!) - with emphasis on the CPSNo cure - just have to learn to live with it. I've been referred to a Physio (calm down there Alanis
) and a Psych Dr who I will (hopefully) see in the next two months and then I have to join a Pain Management Group for 10 weeks to learn coping techniques.
Right now, however, I just want the world to stop spinning so fast and let me get some proper sleep
IN's: My Avon order came and wasn't as bad as I'd thought as most of it was for my mumSo I have 2 x Planet Spa Dead Sea Salt Body Butter's to declare which were on offer 2for£6 instead of £8ish each
I can't remember the last OUT's I declared - will have to read back - so not sure if I have any new ones
Big love to all - have a great weekend :lovethoug0 -

In a word Sarah, yes, it would be the reason. I also take Tramadol (for my arthritis) and it affects me like that periodically as well. _pale_
Not seven days a week thankfully. My son got prescribed it when he strained ligaments (just missed breaking an ankle). Needless to say, he wasn't the slightest bit sick. Some days Tramadol works really well though and I feel pain free and not sick. Today is a bit of a sicky day but it has its advantages, it stops me nibbling!
Hugs to Sawan's sister and to you Sawan. I made a small donation to a fund for a Hackney shopkeeper, one feels so helpless but I had to feel I was doing something.

UUrgh! I wouldn't mind the sickyness if it worked on the painand I hate feeling sick when you can't actually be sick - I think thats the worse bit - I keep heading for the bathroom but nothing happens  (Sorry if TMI folks
). Ah well - a few skipped meals certainly won't kill me :rotfl:

The style prep smoother is supposed to be used before blow drying/straightening. The SA at the Aveda counter when I got mine told me that if you let your hair dry naturally (as I do) then there's no point using it and it won't do anything.
OH has just got home. He has to go past the spot where the three men were killed on Tuesday night and he says there is a big crowd gatheringWe went past it yesterday on the way to the hospital and there were hoardes of camera crews there. There's supposed to be a 'peace march' tonight - fingers crossed it doesn't escalate into something else
