Great advice. Advocating an incredibly useful joint account facility be made illegal is just absurd.

Joint bank accounts can cause no end of disputes. Sometimes I dont think some people know the implications of having one.

Personally I would never have a joint bank account with anyone ;-)

Mrs B has bits of plastic, she literally has no idea how the bills get paid, I am in the process of ensuring our kids make sure that she will be OK when I snuff it.
Fool that I am I trust my wife & children.
Fool that she is my mother entrusts all her monetary arrangements to me.
Its just a fools paradise really.
