I asked a couple of pages ago but I didn't see a response so I hope you don't mind me asking again...
My BF and me ordered some bedroom furniture which we intended to split the cost of, this would have cost me £500.
After realising that I was going to struggle to finance this, my BF said he would pay the full cost himself (he has no debts  )
Can I count this £500 towards my total?
Thanks DFWs

Why do people feel the need to ask questions in such a rude manner on ebay?!!!
I have had someone ask why I didn't leave bullbars on a vehicle, someone else ask I am sure that I have listed something properly. I have a set of car mats on which I have explained that they are sold as seen as I don't have time to clean them due to moving in a week - someone has asked me to clean them, rephotograph them and then he might bid - how gracious of him.

I re-claimed my bank charges today :j
£158 to add to my challenge!!
Hi
Right, well if the furniture money was something you would have spent but have now saved then yes - however on the re-claimed bank charges front we decided not to allow them to be added to totals. You can either increase your challenge or simply put the total claimed in brackets after your normal total.
HTH
BTW - well done on re-claiming bank charges hope you get the cash soon - I have my statements to go for it but I'm chicken about getting accounts closed!!0 -
Sold another 3 overnight - the Americans seem to like dog prints!
So now have £15.45 to add to my total after taking out fees for all my listings, final fees, paypal fees and postage (they all do take their cut don't they?).
Also made £10 on quidco yesterday - OH stuck in London after weather stopped trains - company paying for hotel but I booked it via quidco! Will wait till the money is paid to add this though. Three free bets awaited in matched betting - hopefully be in my accounts by the football on Saturday. And £31 cashback possible on those as well - again we will see if it turns up!
Current total: £204.66
This week's total so far (ends Saturday): £76.06 (+definite £25 to come on Saturday)
So need another £15 at least to hit my weekly target - come on eBay!0 -

This challenge is getting into a bit of confusion, I think the not including bank charges needs to go in big letters on the 1st postNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Well, I have received payment for two of my ebay things that sold yesterday, so after postage and fees etc, £28.72 to add there.
Plus, my DH was given an AA membership which he doesn't need because we are already members. AA said he could transfer it to someone else for no charge. So we did, getting £20 from a colleague of his for doing so, so all in all £48.72 has been added to my total today.
A couple of ebay things are being collected tomorrow and a couple of others await payment or contact so will update again hopefully over the weekend!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hi everyone. Great to read of so much progress being made.
I have received an extra £716 in my salary this month by negotiating to sell my outstanding holidays rather than carry them over into this year. I cancelled some holidays at the request of work and couldn't fit in the rest of my entitlement so decided I would rather have the cash to pay towards my debts. As I can't earn overtime or take a 2nd job I am counting this towards my challenge total. It has already been transferred to my savings account while I decide which card to pay. :j
Adding this to the first week total plus a few bits from this week means I am close to the Bronze total which I originally selected.
However I have decided to upgrade my challenge to Silver BUT if I reach £2007 I will use some of the money to buy a new pc. My existing one is almost 10 years old which makes it practically a museum item. It didn't cost me anything as I negotiating keeping it as part of my redundancy settlement in 2000 so it has served me well. But it keeps crashing, is slow and is increasingly limiting e.g. I was given an Ipod for Christmas but can't download iTunes, I can't download Turbo Lister from Ebay (which meant that I couldn't take advantage of the last 10p listing day as I didn't have time to list items that day but could have uploaded them if I had been able to prepare them in advance). Is this a convincing enough argument to spend the money? I will only buy the pc if I hit the Silver Target so it will come out of "extra funds".
Will need to "up the ante" on my EBay and Amazon sales to reach the Silver target starting with that Ipod.0
