  • i don't get the quidco obsession here! from everything i've heard, it doesn't seem better than Rpoints because they keep the first £5 you make every year, if things don't track I've been told that manual claims aren't usually successful...and anything they offer is matched by the Rpoints HCP anyway! serious question -am i missing something??

serious answer... i think you've got it all.

ask around and most people will tell you the tracking on rpoints is a lot better than that on quidco (don't just take my word for it) and it's a lot easier to get hold of someone if you have a problem.

and yes... rpoints will match all offers by the HCP.

anyhow.. it looks like we're digressing. i didn't make any more money today... waiting for a couple of phones to arrive which i'll be selling on. found a couple of amazing deals (over now)

One of the things I listed last night has sold already - £6. Several more with watchers. Need to sell 1 more to cover the listing fees for the rest and get into profit (or aren't we subtracting listing fees for non-sellers from our eBay profits?).

Just done a bit of extra work as well which will bring in £150 - but won't add that until it is in the bank!

  • although it's a case of being at the right place at the right time (or not as the case may be) if you are in a position where you can make the slightest complaint as a consumer then do it. My husband laughs at the amount of letters/emails of complaint that I write but I would say 7 times out of 10 I come out smiling - yes there's that many. I got £125 from the Bank for not answering a complaint after 6 months, I collected all the evidence and posted it to one of the main offices and received a cheque within a week. I have complained about lack of lunch options at one place, a bug in the same bag (alive) as a sandwich that they had given me. I complained to a restaurant about running out children's meals at a weekend during lunchtime. All of these have paid off and these are just examples. I know that I have come across as a real whingebag here but when you are in debt you will try anything ...

Other survey opportunities - mediatransfer.com (points = amazon vouchers) I have had 3 x £16 so far. It can take some time tho. Pineconeresearch offer luncheon vouchers - I have had approx. £32 so far. They pay these in £4 lots for each survey you do so you are bound to have qualified for at least one in 6 months.

Anyway I will keep racking my brains for you all and keep reading as I said in my 1st post ever #855.

I keep flicking from here to the 'what you never thought you could sell' forum.

    take care
