Am off the starting blocks, as I've just received an email from Amazon saying that a book I listed on Sunday - James & the Giant Peach has sold!!!
I put it on at 1p, as there were lots of them available, but I guess once I've posted it, I should clear 1.80-2.00 profit, which I believe is more than if I'd car booted or ebayed it!!
Won't change my signature yet though, till I get the money from Amazon.....

Also, if it wasn't for DFW, I wouldn't have even known about selling on Amazon, so thanks all round!!

    :T :T

1p books only get you £1.41 before postage.

  • Yay! My first amazon sale since the challenge began! Will update my total once I've posted it tomorrow so I can work out the profit after postage costs :-)

  • Right, trying to find new ways of getting money!!
I've signed up to pigsback, yougov, valued opinions (which so far has been a waste of time as the links to surveys dont work!), quidco and am selling stuff on amazon and ebay.
My only problem is that I dont buy a lot so things like quidco will be slow and the reason why I haven't signed up to mystery shopping. To make money with them I would need to spend on things I wouldn't normally buy so defeats the object!!

Any other suggestions on how to raise my total?? I'm bitten by the bug and want to aim for gold or higher (!!!!) but not sure what else I can do....short of selling off my organs or limbs!!!!! :rotfl:

    Its an obsession now!!!

back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed
  • OK, thats just taken almost an hour but I'm done with rpoints for the time being!!!! Signed up to I dont know how many websites!!!!! Will give it a week or so then check back in to see how I've actually done, and in the mean time delete all the spam I'm now sure to get!!!!!
I'll try the cashback reward site tomorrow, my eyes are hurting!!!!!
    Thanks guys!
  • I am still on the same total...am getting nowhere fast as this thing called work keeps getting in the way. I am looking forward to a few days off so I can try and up my total a bit before I end up far far behind. I have just signed up to cashback rewards (thanks jpwhittle), and am still doing Pigsback, Quidco etc. Hopefully can increase total on Sunday if Ebay items sell. I just need more time to get things listed and have a mooch around some charity shops.
