  • Hi all, I've managed to get off the starting blocks - I won a tenner on pigsback. I'll update my total when I actually get the voucher though...

  • I have slowed down a bit...not that I ever took off in the first place, but hopefully on Sunday I should get some sales on Ebay (have one thing going for £5.50 at the moment). Hopefully I will get some more listing done today, after reading that Ebay thread last night I should be able to find something weird and wonderful arround here somewhere that someone may want! No interest in my Amazon CDs...I suppose it's a sit and wait on that one! I am building up the funds on Quidco and Pigsback, and trying to win stuff all over the place (failing miserably......I have never won a thing in my life!). I am looking forward to doing a couple of boot sales when the weather picks up, probably around May, and I also have my old car sitting on my driveway which might raise a bit. Has anyone ever sold a car on Ebay?

I really wanted to get into this challenge big time - then my accounts weren't comprehensive enough, and I'm waiting for the information to come back, so I still can't give it my full attention. I *have* been doing lots of mse things - big reduction in house and contents insurance (which I was going to do anyway, so doesn't count), researching paying off a loan from savings to reduce monthly outgoings.

So ... I only realised about the loan vs savings thing last Sunday. If I pay it off early, can I include the "interest saved" amount in my total for this challenge? Not sure if I want to actually, it would be more than the bronze amount I've signed up to. Maybe I could up the challenge amount to silver if I can count in the loan savings thing.

Net result is that I haven't made any actual money yet at all, apart from the Pigsback clickthrus, which I only started doing after I read this thread, didn't understand them before.

Had a big panic when I couldn't find this thread - it was at the bottom of page 3

    Everythings fine now though ;)

    Good day today:

£1 sold another book to someone at work
Profit on 2 ebay things was £4.57 and £5.88
and profit on amazon book sold last night (a freebie one I was sent) was £1.03 as on the 100g borderline and PO lady went with under 100g rather than over :T

Came into work to find I'd sold another book this morning which I should get £5 profit from - will add to total when I've posted it tomorrow.

So that's £12.48 today so far - almost as much as the whole of last week

Hope everyone else is getting on well

How do you subscribe to a thread?
Just been offered a mystery shop for tomorrow but won't get paid for a month and it's only a tenner. Never mind, better than nothing.
