Just had a good lunchtime:
Posted the book I sold on Amazon on Friday, not a great profit but still a profit.
Then sold another book and a few booklets to 2 people through the small ads here so went and met up with them and so that's another £2. The book was 1 my mum gave me to sell and the booklets were freebies so even better :j
So that's £2.58 to add to my total.
Someone else wants another book I have listed on the small ads so I'm meeting them tomorrow lunchtime too.
And even better bought my own lunch in so cost 69p rather than £2.20, part of my moneysaving exploits as well as money making :money:
Listed 3 things on ebay last night and currently on £4.71 - all were freebies (tesco clothing/extra points vouchers) so after fees etc it'll all be profit - 2 end tonight and the other on Wednesday so looking forward to that as with moving I haven't ebayed in 2 months. :eek:Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000
Initial Mortgage free date - January 2058
Mortgage as of 1st February 2024 - £159,134.98
Overpayments to date - £79.62
Current Mortgage free date - January 20580 -

Hiya, You're spot on there! After joining this thread I was determined to do whatever I could do raise the money and my mum said the easiest way was switch schools...so I did!! It means my youngest is now at home with me all day but in sept he will join the nursery attached to the new school for free.
Bit over zealous by some peoples counts and their dad was shocked to say the least but it was worth it!! It was the first day for my eldest today so I hope he got on OK.
Mines going to slow down now while I wait for my amazon listings to sell.
Bangramonkey, you're having a great day today!!0 -
well I hope your eldest got on ok at the new school! providing he/she is happy then the savings will be worth it!
Im still raiding the place for stuff to sell, found some stuff for ebay but camera has run out of juice, so its sat on charge as we speak.
Popped the dvd onto amazon decide to loose the 34p in order to get a better price (and yes I will take off the 34p out of any money made on it!)
