I'v had £29.31 refunded on my debit card after buying cd's as last min Christmas pressies which they already had. I'v so far found one replacement cd @ £6.50 a saving of £3.27 of the original cost so will add that to my total (£53.27) Hope to find some decent savings replacing the other two.
I think this forum is rubbing off on my son, that has to be a good thing though he's only 15. I gave him £3 yesterday and and he came home with £3.15!He said he walked to and from school and reclaimed a £1 his mate borrowed before Christmas, and picked up 15 pence in copper off the floor :rotfl:
  • I have got off to a good start. I have sold some Lego I bought in a charity shop for an £8 profit and a dress I bought on ebay for a £3 profit.
I am going to have a go at listing a book on Amazon later.

You should have sat next to them and dropped a really eggy fart. They'd soon move.

He looked a bit dodgy, plus my farts smell of roses ya know... :rotfl:

There are vending machines all round the campus and found those is usually a good bet! And outside the shops and banks too.

Best place for change was when I volunteered at a youth club and a school - kids always used to leave 1ps and 2ps everywhere, even through them in the bin!

I can't believe I have come home to six SDN emails from Amazon. 4 of which are free books from hubbys mate giving me a total profit of £14.54 after postage and fees. Yay!!! (sig updated)
I shall list some ebay stuff thursday night so I can take advantage of the 10p listing day - I wish some of my free cinemas tickets would come soon then I can get then on ebay too.

I have loaded a few more bits on Ebay with another load to put on when it is 10p listing day. A couple of others end tomorrow so hopeful of a bit of cash from them.

I have also put my first 4 books on Amazon. I have no idea whether I am being realistic there but with no fees unless you sell, it has got to be worth a try!

Other than that, nothing to report, which considering I need £16 a day to succeed is a little worrying!!!

I hope everyone else is doing ok.

  • my stuff is still doing well on ebay, hoping it will do better though, ends on friday.

Im only including money I actually make, Im trying to save as much as I can this year anyway so would get a bit confusing for me to add any money Ive saved, be it buying cheaper versions or having money left over at pay day.

That way I can save as much as I can and any money from the challenge will be extra money Ive earned. hope this makes sense to you guys! may mean I make less than everyone else but I will be able to make sense of it!
finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!

Delivered one of the items sold on ebay last night on way back from work and got a £1 for delivery, so that's started the challenge.

Will add my cashback from healthcare site and Christmas vouchers (can't include my brother's one as we've still not got them yet! )

Sold 1 thing on ebay already and 7 days to go on that one! :j Don't expect much off it though but better than nothing - especially as it was a freebie anyway! :D

Have looked and am currently watching a few things which I've got to sell myself so will price accordingly on Thursday.

Should also get travelling expenses back from attending an interview 450 miles away in a few weeks - hopefully get another interview off them and can claim another 450 miles soon too.

Must go and find out some more things and take photo's before Thursday then! Good luck all.

Well heres a tip if you are selling books check you haven't left anything in them i found a £10 woolworths voucher and two photo's (i've been looking for) this then spured me on to look through my hand bags and coats some of which i intend to sell and i found £3.60 in change a £5 note and 6 free play vouchers for mega bowl.

My items on ebay have 5 watchers and 1 bid each, so upto now it's going pretty well,

forgot to mention that i've been doing pigsback, mutualpoints and some surveys yet to get payment from them.
