I have just over £50 to add since my car boot success at the weekend.
All the money I have made has gone straight off my credit cards as overpayments so I can really see a difference in my debt totals thanks to this challenge!
I currently have something on ebay which has 27 watchers! So hopefully it will go for more than the £26 it is currently selling for!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hi all, seems like we know exactly where we want this cash to go - I think having a purpose for it makes a big difference, as if it just goes into bank account it will dissapear and go on Frills (booo hisss!) rather than real stuff.
I got £11.09 total to add today, that's gone into the Christmas category - see, didn't I say I was going to be good?MFW #185

My ebay item is up to £77 with 4 days to go, so hoping for a good total to add in at the weekend :jSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Good Morning everyone,
Well, now that I have paid off all my debts on credit card and overdraft, I am only left loan. Up until now, every time I declare new 'earnings' on here, I transferred them to my credit card. Now that's at zero, I'm instead going to divert the money towards a new car fund. My car was £200 last year, so I'm not sure how long it will last for!
It's too difficult to pay the loans off early, and doesn't achieve much anyway, so I might as well earn interest on the savings.

Just catching up on MSE after my weekend at my inlaws - was too busy at work yesterday to catch up so making time today
Ended up with £17.07 last week after doing another Psychology Experiment on Thursday.
Was disappointed as I didn't sell anything on amazon or green met over the weekend - obviously the nice weather meant people weren't stuck at home online
I did however get a big box of books from my dad when I saw him on Saturday which have now all been put on Amazon and/or Green Met - most were either obsecure or new or both so that's good - here's hoping. Whilst looking for something in in-laws garage OH found some old videos that were put out there on the way to the charity shop but never made it there and are now all dusty etc. FIL said I could have them for amazonso I now have 2 bags for life of videos and a few books to clean, and list - checked them all quickly on Monday and all but 2 of them are worth listing :j - that's a job for the weekend I think.
Did sell an audiotape on Green Met on Tuesday though - had been on amazon for over a year and on green met for a couple of months so just goes to show you patience is good! £3.20 profit from that.
Also sold some of the No7 sun stuff through work yesterday 5 things for £7.50 (these are the extras as I won't be able to use all 12 things I got). Others are all listed now so hopefully with the good weather others might be interested.
One ebay thing finished last night - had 2 people bidding for it and ended on £6 - really pleased as it was something I wasn't sure would sell. Hope they'll pay tonight. Have 3 things on atm and 1 with a bid and another with a couple of watchers so hope they'll be a few more pounds there.
Right by Sunday I hope to:
List 1 more thing I have to ebay
Clean and list the videos I got
Go through all my current books etc stock and make sure it's all listed as I didn't get a chance on Tuesday when I got back
Go through my craft stuff - find any cross stitch stuff I won't do and ebay it
Start a car boot box
Locate possible car boot sales (moved to a new area since I did my last one).
Hope everyone's doing ok at the half way point :money:Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Hi,
I have just been reading the latest threads on here and they are very inspiring. My Olympic challenge has not been going well lately as have not been able to do any ebaying. I have M.E and have just started a new job, so pretty tired most of the time at the moment. However I have just sold a book on Green Metropolis and that combined with reading the threads has inspired me to get some ebaying done this weekend.
I have a mountain of stuff to sell, literally about 15 bags of clothes and shoes plus other stuff. I do have a load of books on Green Metropolis that I listed earlier in the year, but only 3 of these have sold so far, perhaps I will give Amazon a go instead.
Thanks all, for the renewed inspiration:beer:0 -
i would give amazon a go punky and get ebaying not only will you get rid of the clutter but you will up your target
you have made a good start with the challenge and have enough stuff to make good way into hitting the target if not surpassing it i think we are only just over half way there good luckSave 12k in 2015 member 187. £62.50/60000 -
