I would also like to join the challenge at Bronze level please.

Thanks also for the tip on editing signatures and all.

Am lucky that my debts are at 0% or 1.9% (Lifetime).

Will use all money saved to pay off mortgage asap (we are just about to reduce term from 30 to 16 years).

    Good luck to all!

I've started with £50 M&S vouchers I received yesterday for remortgaging with Alliance & Leicester (I did open the envelope, but I'll count them anyway ;) ). I shall get a further £100 in M&S vouchers tomorrow when I go into work as it's my 5 year anniversary.

It's a double hit because the vouchers will be an incentive for losing weight on the 2007 olympic weight loss challenge as I'll save them up to buy new clothes when I'm back down to my normal size :)

Good luck with the challenge everyone.

    what's this all about?? :)

Well I'm getting married on 19/04/08 and I'm trying to do it the Money Saving Expert Way, ie not the expensive spend money on daft things way! As much as I want a great day surrounded by family and friends its very much about the marriage afterwards not a big blow out showy day! So if anyone has ideas on how to save money then please feel free to contact me! Thats what its about :j

  • LET THE CHALLENGE BEGIN!!!!!!!!! (although some already have!!! :))

will be trying to ebay stuff today, sort through stuff for boot fairs when the weather is nicer (which reminds me, take stuff out of boot from last boot fair!!) and making paper mache piggy banks with my brother to collect loose change (in amounts I wont miss, so I dont have to take more money out of the bank each time)

EDIT: I have just ordered my first £10 voucher through pigsback so will count that once I have swapped it or sold it!

    GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!

ps how many of us are there annie and jet???
finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!

GOOD LUCK to all of you.
Don't forget to post any tips so I can update the first post of thread and don't forget to check it regularly.
I have a phone ending on ebay today which I bought new from a tip on MSE for only £4.60(good use of discount vouchers) but it is currently selling at about £20 so there's my first bit of money, I also have a load of books which were given to me to list on Amazon and I still have some free ones still listed from other challenge - I think I will count sales from that as it was something I did purely for the other challenge so is over and above my mormal income. My son has decided to switch his allegiance of two footie clubs down to just one so I have 3 tops, 2 pairs of shorts and a single bed kit for Arsenal to put on ebay - should I list seperately or as a bulk lot for a new supporter???
I have PM'd WOA to see how he is getting on but no reply yet.
