  • Yeah smokings on my list too but I figured I'm more likely to succeed with the lottery!!!! :rotfl:

That does make more sense. I'll have to go back and have another read through. Have you really made over £6k just through matched betting?? How long was that over?

Yes, that's 11 months in total although that includes a couple of holidays and several months of dealing with estate agents so I wasn't able to do much matched betting

People who've put more time in than me have made £1,000 a month over the same time scale, so for anyone doing the Olympic Challenge who fancies trying matched betting, it could be a way of going for Gold :)

I thought I'd give this challenge a try, and a challenge it will certainly be!! I'll try for Bronze...though how I'll save £1007 in 7 months I don't know. Is there a level below Bronze? lol

To start me off I have £101.15 from Quidco, £80 from Christmas

    Total so far: £181.15

Ahhhh, go on then put me down for bronze.

Whaddya all like, I've been trying to resist but hey in for a penny in for 1007 pounds.

Joined Quidco, think I've earned about £3.73 at the mo which doesn't even cover my fiver membership but have been ebaying like mad today.

Would like to try the matched betting but what with my innumerateness (don't even know if thats a real word aka not very number literate) and my devotion to MSE, plus little things like my family, my full time job and my cleaning and exercise avoidance techniques, I'm not sure that I'll have the time.

    Heeeeerrrrrrreeeeeeeee we go.
Good luck everyone and remember 'lets be careful out there'.:rotfl: :rotfl:

Hope that's clear ... as clear as mud, probably

PS Some bookies are also on Quidco so you get extra cash for signing up, and Betfair gives you £25 through Quidco AND a £25 bonus when you sign up

yep as clear as mud...but thanks

Holy c**p!!!! Well I'm going to definitely get my head round it then and spend tomorrow night listing on ebay to get the money to spend! Yay for turbo lister! Just gotta get the pics taken. Most of my stuff will be collection only so wont even have to worry about paypal fees!!!
  • Sign me up for bronze, never done a challenge before and still a newbie, but what the heck, I'll give it a go! How do I do a signature thing?
