Just £2 for me today into £2 Piggy, but I think next week there will be more I can put aside...

EDIT -> Ooh - managed to put £25.41 into savings as noticed my bank acc isn't as low as I thought it would be for this week. Being self-employed and budgeting weekly is very different to how I used to manage things!

  • everyone is still doing well I see! still moving slowly but surely for me, I never imagined I would get this far though!

not too worried that my total isnt as high as the others as the money isnt needed for debt repayments unlike some. Its great to see how determined you all are! wish I had found this site before I did, it would have been a great help!! now though it keeps me on track and for that Im thankful! not only has this challenge helped me build a pot of money but the site makes me think about my spending habits and in the last 2 months alone I have saved over £1000 of my wages (which arent much more than that really!!) I am hoping that when I eventually move out (again!!) I will be able to keep this up, which Im sure with hard work and my determination I will!

anyway aside from all that, as woa isnt around at the moment if anyone wants to pm their total and target to me by late tommorrow afternoon I can make a mini list of how we are all doing if you all want!
finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!

Not ebaying for a while after my account got hacked! Fortunately ebay spotted it quickly and managed to get things sorted out.

Thanks to the Boots thread I have got my mother's day present sorted out. So saved £20 there. Also got my grandmother's birthday present using Boots points so another £35 saved.

Mother having store cupboard clear out so passed on some things to me including fresh eggs from her neighbour. Was cat sitting last week so got given lovely flowers and bottle of wine. Total saving £20.

Once friend applies for reward points I should get another pigsback voucher.

Good luck everyone for next week.:D

Greetings all....just popped back with a warning and notice there's a very relevant post just above mine!

Ebay have a HUUUGE problem at the moment with accounts getting hacked. The person could well be an ebay insider or ex employee - who knows. My best mate's account got hacked on Wednesday - she lost a massive auction cos ebay had to pull it as a hacker had posted a BIN invitation right across the description. This morning I tried to log on to find ebay had changed all my log-on details as "my details have become known to a third party". There was nothing wrong with my auctions so how would they know this? Called my Mum and found the same had happened to her this morning too!!

Anyway....as a safety precaution, I'd advise all of you to keep a close eye on your accounts - make sure your ebay and paypal passwords are different and try to have a combination of letters, numbers and symbols in your password.

I'm sure you all have, but just thought I'd mention it.
  • thaks for the info on ebay, I have just changed my passwords on both ebay and paypal to be on the safe side

Had quite a good week this week. Sold £95 ponds worth of things on ebay. And this week had a bit of a surprise a work as Ive been offered a promotion (that I didnt know about) with a big payrise.

Also got loads more things to put on ebay. Moved last weekend and having a major clear out.

I've had a rubbish week as far as ebay goes... only got two items sold, for peanuts frankly, and I don't think I've made a profit of more than £2!

never mind, get back on with the listing!
