I know its late but can I join. So far I have £20.60 in the pot from pigsback amazon and ciao! And have loads of books and dvds listed on Amazon which will be a total of around £150 if they all sell.

Just been looking at the carbon footprint site and I need to plant 38 trees to offset my households!!!!! This will soon be sorted though when the coucil get their fingers out and sort my heating system out. We use £1 per day electric when the heating isnt used and £10 a day when it is !!!!!!!!!
    Bank (£10 a week) = 0 - Bank (Leftovers night before payday) = £3.23 - Small Change Savings Jar = £1.71 - 20p Savings pot =£0

    hummmm

Things not going too well- got a few things on Ebay but not much interest. Think I've messed up today as realised I've sent something to someone's address that was on the reply from Ebay (about sending a cheque) but they sent a note with the cheque with a different address that I've just found under a pile. Grrr. Serves me right for not being organised. Think I'll have to stop ebaying if I'm going to be doing all this extra work as am v tired so making mistakes!
Sold a couple more things on Amazon, did a supply day on Tues and have another one tomrrow so that's all good.

    Hope all are well

I did my first focus group discussion this week and got £35 for an hour and a half - and it was pretty enjoyable. Going to Cardiff this weekend so that will be my spending money.

I may have to downgrade :(

I'm not impressed about it, but I think it's going to have to be done. I have so much college work, and my volunteer role is building faster than I envisioned, so I don't have the time for anything aside overtime at work and that won't do it.

I have more time over the summer to match bet while I'm sat on my bum recovering for six weeks, so for now I'm doing it for mum which is more important.

Will continue as best I can for Bronze, but don't think I'll make Silver :( I feel a bit useless now :o

Don't be daft! You can only do what you can do. Don't beat yourself up about it, aim for bronze and see what happens.

  • Congrats on being well below the national average:beer:

What annoyed me was that the secondary sources were more than the average primary share, so unless the government takes action on business and their own waste no matter how much energy i save there will still be loads of CO2 pumped out on my behalf.

Gonna phone up the leccy company and see if their green energy costs the same and if not they will get a stern talking to (ie me shouting at them down the phone:rotfl: :rotfl:)

I want to have someone come round and work out mine exactly like he did on panorama. I've got my mum into now though, sent her the website to look at and have just got of the phone to her having spent half hour talking about solar panels and the best places to put them on our houses!!!!
Did you see the news last night where they showed the government buildings completely lit when there was no one there? Completely disgraceful! Not only for the carbon for for moneysaving too!!! :D

I'm locked into to npower for a while so I can get my annual discount but as soon as thats up I'm switching to a green supplier. I cant cut back the bills anymore than I have already, they have to double check my gas meter as they dont believe its all I've used, plus I've got energy saving bulbs in every available fitting...just a shame that 70% of the lights in my house are halogens!! Good job they are hardly switched on!

You give 'em a good ole rollocking!! Hopefully if enough people do it they might start charging less for it across the board!!:money:
