wish I could give up the bus for work but it would be an hours walk each way (although would save 99.9% of stress caused by standing at the bus stop wanting for non existant buses!!) maybe when the weather gets better I could cycle or run to work but no chance in this weather!
by logging on here every night and watching programs such as spendaholics and bank of mum and dad (on at 10 tonight on uk style by the way) am hoping I will never be tempted to get into debt again! (apart from a mortgage one day)finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!0 -
mines a 45 minute walk
sometimes i think with rush-hour traffic and waiting twenty minutes for a bus to turn up! it would be quicker to walk
it will add £14 a week to the challenge
thinking of other was to cut back costs and add to money madeDebt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO0 -

It doesn't look like I'm going to be able to start the challenge on time because I'm going to be moving house. But I will do my best to keep popping in - sometimes I think MSE's the only thing that keeps me going!!0 -
ok ben make me look like the lazy one
only kidding! as I said maybe when the weathers better that way I would save £35 a month

I'm a bit late but can I join too? I've been lurking on these boards forever, but would really like to get involved in a challenge! I'm going to go for Gold ... I'm in the process of buying my first flat, and ended up having to borrow money from my parents for the deposit, this amount would mean I could pay them back about half of it by July, which would be a great feeling!
I've got a big list of things to list on ebay tomorrow, then I'm going to give matched betting a try. Thanks everyone for all the great suggestions so far, good luck to us all0 -
Ok I'm starting a day early, sold a book on Amazon this morning... I post all my books from work so will get free postage, so £4.29 so far!0
