    Debt-free and Proud!
thank you! i was in a bit of a rush to get the free £50 from skybet before midnight today so i was worried i mucked things up in my rush..will see how it goes on sunday!

Good luck with it - from your posts on the newbie thread sounds like you will be fine with your bet and about £48 better off tomorrow. :T

Lucked out today with a football match in the spanish league - bet on it at two bookies - both with play through rules for their bonuses and it won at Betfair - so no need to play through and it is all now mine! Another £33.49 to my total. That's £105 profit this week on matched betting with another £31 expected in cashback. :T

    well done everyone

My ebay auctions finished today - sold lots of Slimming World books . I will add in the total once I have been paid and have sent the books off so I know my costs.

My Mum has given me some stuff to ebay and we are splitting any profit made.

  • I'm dying to try matched betting, but even reading the newbie thread for it confuses me!

All the ones I've looked at via quidco require you to put in a deposit - where are the free ones?

Sorted out my finances so one account is now free to use for this challenge

Paypal should go over the £50 mark so i can add to next weeks total, as well as payday so will know how much i have saved (could be over £60).

So should be over £100 by this time next week (woo-hoo)

    Hi GUys
Check out first post as I have added a great list from Andy regarding cashback/profit from Quidco.
    Thanks Andy
  • Hi all,
Well a terrible week really, but have to admit my hearts not been in it as we are really busy in work at the minute.
Anyway, listed a few things on Ebay, only 1 sold. After fees, etc, I made a grand total of £1.43.
Yesterday listed lots more on Ebay and Amazon. Have lots of books on Greenmetropolis, but they don't seem to be selling.
Feel I need to be more inventive and was wandering about advertising a dog walking service at weekends and evenings. Has anyone ever tried this, if so any idea how much they charge.
Good luck for next week everyone.
    Olympic Bronze Challenge Target £1007
    Started 7/1/07 - Total so far £713.66
  • I have hit my target for this week, but I am getting a bit frustrated now, running out of things to sell and no matter how many times I read it, I just don't get matched betting

I am going to check out the Quidco profit now I have a bit of money in the account.

Think we are going to Costco and Makro in a couple of weeks, I will look out for some things to sell then too.
2007 Olympic Challange - Going for Bronze - Total so far: £98.25
  • Well I shoul dbe able to add another £50 to my total tonight as my highest ebay listing should be collected, if he doesn't forget to take my address and phone number with him this time like he did on friday!!!
Have listed a few more books on amazon, my ebay listings dont end for a while yet so nothing happening on them but should have a tonne of stuff to list by next Sunday, ex is coming to clear out his stuff from the garage so I've told him to leave behind anything he doesn't want. I told him I'd freecycle it but anything worth selling will be bunged on ebay!!!
Also managed to persuade my brother to let me sell some of his old stuff he's got in my garage so I'll list them but will only get half the profit on them.
Feeling a bit fragile this morning after draining the bar last night so wont be doing an awful lot today!!! Only spent £16 of my profits though so am chuffed with that!! Should start a new thread....get drunk the MSE way!!!! :rotfl:
