Have a look here, I always do it and usually get what I want room wise.
Have you been to Vegas before? if not you are in for a surprise/shock as Vegas works on tipping.
Free drinks in casinos are only free if you keep tipping the cocktail waitress otherwise she stops coming,
If you want a better seat at shows with a maitre de then give him a $20 and you will get the best seat/table.
Dont forget the bell boy and tipping the maid will get you lots of extra creams and lotions if you want them.
The croupier if you are winning, the sports book cashier, the cage cashier when you cash your chips in (I dont tip them tho)
The list is endless..
Have a great trip0 -
Welcome back trets.
What was the weather like while you were there?
I had a look through your guide and it looks great.
there was something I noticed that didnt look quite right but it was minor, when I get chance i will have another look and pm you0 -
The $20 trick work like a charm for me in November at both the Bellagio and Planet Hollywood.
Yes I felt very awkward and embarrassed the first time I tried it, but it gets better the more I do it.0 -
Im off to Vegas for a week or so for the New Year - I cant wait to give the $20 trick a go. Whats the worst they can say - No? Got to be worth it.0

sunny everyday but fresh temperture wise for first 3 days ( long sleeves day and night ) but very pleasaant last few days , i got away with short sleeves day and night.
i would definatly do this season again as it is nice to walk the strip without sweating , but i do like the high temps more .
as for the new thread there are still a lot of typos to be spellchecked out ect but i want to be sure all my facts are in order as priority one.Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -

absolutely - and if you look at the link that photome posted for frontdesktip.com you can get an idea of the success rate and what sort of upgrades people were able to get for your particular hotel. At least that way you have an idea what to expect.
We tried it at Bally's in November and got upgraded to a Diamond room which was really only a renovated room (which we normally get anyway) on a high floor with a coffee maker in the room - but was a much nicer view than we normally get. Others have managed suites! Really worth trying.
Trets - thanks for the report and welcome back!Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
