  • This may be a stupid question but does anyone know what the phone number is for the MGM grand reservation? I tried the following but 1-888-646-1203 but didnt get a response.

I've decided to go for the player club promotion which trets posted earlier, however once i book online i get different quote than i would for each individual night, does anyone know why this is?

Im trying to book one room with 3 adults during the period 13th sept - 18 sept. I got the following quote from the link trets posted: $886.98, which works out to be around £147 per person. Does this seem right?

    Thanks in advance!

yes thats is right , they are adding a extra $20 a night fro the extra body and you have a Fri and Sat ('$240 and $270) in with the special week day prices.

i cannot remember but i think you have to add a 0 ( or is it 01?) to the phone number at the start . google it or call the 100 operator

anyhow if your not already , try going through The INT call checker on the main MSE site. this is the one i alwys choose http://www.ratebuster.co.uk/pages/home.asp?tid=ID0000001&icid=K013-2559744-138KEVAPPC27960=K

    = 1p min

here is the call checker as well http://callchecker.moneysavingexpert.com/intcallchecker/

I quite agree - I've learned loads from others on this thread...I'm pretty much incapable of not answering a question I think I can help on...it's probably some mild form of OCD. :)

Also anyone know of any cheap flights to Vegas for October 3rd?

Saw Trets post and realised that I could check the M+M fares for you.

Virgin flights from LGW on or about 3rd October for a week or so are running at £405.80 using Miles Plus Money...no M+M fares for the 1st or the 6th out or back but otherwise, the grid is all filled in with £405.80...full fares right now are running £629.80 - so that's a decent savings.

From the UK it would be 001 888 646 1203 and looks like that is the correct number for MGM.

Has anyone seen 'O' at Bellagio? Any tips on booking or seating? I have checked the site via the Players Club they are offering me 'wet seats', the mind boggles!!

Book sooner rather than later would be my advice, we went for 10 days in july and they were sold out for the entire duration of our trip. We did however get to see Mystere and Ka, so happy days really. All Cirque shows do a 50% military discount too, although if you aren't in the forces thats no good to you.

personally speaking a week is not nearly long enough in Vegas. your 1 st night you will probably be tired out from the flight to get up to wild things as well.

if your asking "can i find things to fill a whole week in Vegas" ...most definatly YES !!!

Could not agree more with this statement, as I said before we went for 10 days earlier this year, and as we had never been before I was a wee bit worried about the length of time, but we would have happily satyed another 10 days!!!! There simply is no end of things to do.

    Hi there

Just to add my experience of MyTravel Manchester-Vegas flight. I have done this route twice (Oct 05 & Apr/May 07) both of these flights were direct (as described). I would be well miffed to have had to touch down at Glasgow en-route, esp. on the return leg after a 10hr journey + jet lag. My only guess is that these (MAN & GLA) flights were undersubscribed and so they 'doubled up' - either way its bang out of order. SHAME ON YOU MYTRAVEL!!!

    Hi kjh_gemini
Its good to know that these flights are direct sometimes - I will give them another chance next year then - though, as some other MSE's are saying, it only seems to happen in summer, so it will probably effect me again as I will, no doubt, be going during the summer months.... Good luck to everyone else using them though!

Treat me gently! This is the very first time I have ever joined in a forum, so unsure of protocol but it is said you're never to old to learn, so here goes.

Has anyone seen 'O' at Bellagio? Any tips on booking or seating? I have checked the site via the Players Club they are offering me 'wet seats', the mind boggles!!

I've been to that, paid $125 a seat, not the wet one's. What can I say, I think the Americans give cirque du soleil groups some stick, French canadians and all that. It was fantastic, the theatre is very lavish and some of the moves are awesome, but.... it was long and tedious at times and the clowns got on my nerves, one kept going oooOOOOOOOoooooo people laughed even after the 77th time of him going ooooOOOOOOOoooooo and £70 ish each it was way too much, put me off going to any of the other Cirque shows. Last year we went to see Phantom and that was really wonderful, but I've been in somewhere like the Gold Coast and there has been a Jazz band on that was better than anything I've paid to see in Vegas. Everything in Vegas is very very good value apart from the big shows, cost way too much, you have to see one while you there though.
