tesco does the trick for me. good speed, good price. only downside is customer service isn't always great - but, it's getting better.26/09/2017 - Started comping again. Wins so far: 1!

Have heard all good stuff about Tesco. I don't have a BT line though but I am becoming tempted to switch back cause not confident Telewest are going to provide BBand in this area as promised.....
Don't feel happy not having much of a choice of providers if I stick with Twest
fed up waiting....0 -
iglimpse, I would seriously think about changing from Telewest not only for choice of ISP but for CPS as well.0

AOL have just reduced their prices so their 512k broadband 17.99 per month. With this announcement, Im quite certain that other ISPs will reduce their prices to keep up with the competition. Hold on for a couple of weeks, Im sure we'll see more of the big providers reducing their prices.
For phone, try TalkTalk, you get free evening and weekend calls for FREE for 12 months and theres lots of people (me included) that can refer u so you can get so call credit as well.
So by getting phone and internet separately, u can spend 18 pounds instead of 25 pounds, a saving of 84 pounds in a year.0 -
I think that Tiscali with 256k unlimited at £15.99 is better for most people.0

I have just threatened to close my NTL account for Broadband and talk24 and was offered drastic savings for the next 12 months.
1/ free talk24 for 3 months
2/ halfprice broadband for 6 months
3 halfprice rental for 12 months
CNA ANYONE BEAT THAT?? i DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO PUSH THE DEAL IT WAS ALL OFFERED AT ONCE!!0 -
Gasman I would keep an eye on that 3 months free Talk24 as it seems to be the really expensive part of NTL and would phone again in the 3 months and cancel that bit altogether and use 1899 for your phone calls0

Hi all
Was wondering if you could help me with this - I'm trying to order BT broadband 2mb for £24.99 a month, on £50 cash back offer via https://www.metro.co.uk - but I just can't get it to work and the offer ends today - 27th Feb. Any advices.
The error I get is as below - but the "call me back now" feature does not work!
Thanks in advance!
