Does drinking two litres of water a day improve your skin?

Interesting. Guess who funded that study, which claims that drinking any non-alcoholic beverage is just as good for you as drinking plain water? Coca Cola. Ironically they are the bottlers of Malvern Water, which costs a couple of quid for a 500cc bottle if you buy it in a London hotel.

It's gathered for free straight from the hillside by us locals. :j Last week it was flowing out so fast it took about 5 seconds to fill a 5 litre bottle. It tastes so much better than the local tap water, which is not as nice even when filtered.

I have to be honest - I find this programmes results a little dubious. The test they did on a brother and sister with sugar - it showed that these 2 kids didn't go hyper on a sugar overdose.
Fair enough maybe these 2 didn't - but as an explaination they said that your brain cells work at full capacity and nothing makes them go faster - uhmm, that just doesn't make sense to me, surely some substances are stimulants no matter what part of the body they impact on.
They then proceeded to tell the nation that the results of this 2 child test proves that sugar just rots your teeth and makes you fat - I have seen too many kids react badly to sugar - hyper then the sugar crash tears and tantrums 2 hours later. I know as an adult how I feel when I've overdosed on sugar.
Re the fluids - i think the problem tends that people just don't drink enough full stop. I'm sure that drinking more of anything is better than that. But how drinking drinks full of additives and sugar can be as good for you as plain water makes no sense to me at all!
    Sorry, rant over :)
