    :(

I just nipped to Argos and bought a new set of Weightwatchers scales. They weigh me a whole stone heavier than the wii and the dodgy kitchen ones. I now have no clue how heavy I am. I'm tempted to take them back!

Could you go to Boots or Superdrug, get weighed there and then you will know which scales are accurate?

I probably could but am terrified that the WW ones are correct. That would put me (in my mind at least) from approaching 15 stone to almost 17 :(

Will continue with the wii and dodgy analogue kitchen scales for this months readings and get weighed in town in the meantime.

I'm more inclined to believe the wii and the kitchen scales, not because it's obviously lighter but because the weights are similar even though they are on different surfaces.

This has put me in a major and obsessively bad mood

Are you sure you have removed all the packaging material they put around the feet of these things? if some is still wedged inthe feet it would give an incorrect reading.

Also do they need to settle in, every time I move mine, I have to weigh twice so they set themselves. (if that makes sense)

Also if they are on carpet, this may not give a true reading either, move them on to the kitchen / wooden / hard floor you have and try again.

Alternative do as the dragon says, or visit my dr's surgery and ask for the nurse :eek: her's work ok! :rotfl::rotfl: and last time she weighed me, I was 4 lbs lighter than the ones at home :j:T

Any way 'machine' is set up and in use, did 2 miles last night in 28 mins, which is a good start for me, more tonight before I cook, then once I have cooked, out to cut the grass and that should do me for the day! :D

I love your optimism :) There's no more packaging and the scales were already on my kitchen floor. I can put both the old analogue scales next to the new digital ones and there's a stone difference. I'm glad the machine is going well. I do 2 1/2km in half an hour and I'm dying afterwards lol. Still doing the pilates daily too. I've lost a good inch from my boobs, 3 from my waist and a couple from my bum. It's definately coming off, I just don't want to be where I was 2 months ago :'(

Feeling better today. After settling in overnight and weighing again this morning the WW scales put me at 7 pounds heavier than the wii. I'm still gutted but it's not changed how much weight I've already lost or the clothes that I'm fitting into again. In fact, if I look on the brightside, being heavier means i can eat more and I burn more calories doing exercise! I'll weigh for the final time on the wii on Monday, then start the September thread on the new ones. It's a blip, a small setback. If my Maths are correct and I manage the monthly goal, I'll be 14 stone something by Christmas :D
