  • Well...I've been faithful to the £5 a day commitment...and have started well in the 1 debt in 100 days challenge...but just when it looked like a superb hat trick may be in the offing...a horrible slice (of pie and chocolate cake) seems to have knocked me off course (and into the mother of all BBQ storms!)
Have definitely not been as faithful in this challenge and think next month will have to up the ante...am gonna put it down to some cracking BBQ weather and oodles of burgers and sausages (drools again at the thought!).
Will try to take a couple of pounds off by the end of the month...and then I'll be on the right track come Sept!
    £10 a day in November = £593.31 / £300

Weekly weigh in time. The scales have not been kind this month, I'm down to 15st11 so I know the weight is coming off. It just seems so slow considering how hard I'm working. I think I'm going to invest in a new set of scales later, I don't think weighing on the wii is that reliable. I'm sure there's a sweet spot somewhere on the carpet that gives lower readings. I probably have totally unrealistic goals in my mind lol. Oh well, one more week for a final push :D
Smashed through my weightloss target. Looking at 120lbs+ loss. BMI over 40 down to 20.5. Training hard to get body fat under 20%, not far to go now :j

    Hi all,

I am pleased to report a pound loss this week. Had a busy week as I was doing church flowers for a wedding on Saturday, so did not have a lot of time to my self during the end of the week, which eliminated my snacking a little!

Still not doing a lot of exercise, but did some decorating and cleaning which might have used up a couple of calories going up and down the ladder.

More cleaning and decorating to do this week. Got the in-laws coming to stay at the weekend so that always motivates me to tidy up.

Well done if you have lost weight this week , and even if you haven't , there is always next week, keep at it!!

I do know the root cause of it, lack of exercise! but I do have a good reason, but don't want to post up on a public forum about it!. Food book is up to date and I have not been overeating.

My lovely OH has just rung me and told me (note not asked / or discussed) that 'our machine' is on its way back tomorrow, we hired a running machine for 6 weeks earlier on this year, but sent it back as it got too expensive, but he says he is paying and its coming back!!
He also went on to say he must get some serious training in for the Great North Run, he is running on behalf of Macmillian cancer trust, so he wants it back for him as well!.

So who am I to complain, also my 6 week special gym membership ran out today.

So I have a feeling I am in a win win situation!!

I had no idea you could hire fitness equipment. How does that work?

    Dragon well done

Siren~ OH found a company based in / near Northampton (not too far from us) on the internet, so he contacted them to check them out ie what type of equipment / terms/ payment / customer service/ etc etc etc and we went from there. I'll pm you the link, when I find it.
