    Morning all
Hair is a pain. I have just coloured mine, so that I can give it a breather before I have my sister's wedding in 4 weeks. So that I can get it permed.

Looks like it is going to be good drying weather today, so off to put washing on.

Hope you all work hard! I was very good yesterday, and managed a whole chapter of my text book! Go me:A

Hope you have a good first full week of the summer holidays Seaxwyn!!

Also, hope that you get an amount of work in that you feel happy with - think of those end of month invoices!!

    Morning ladies.

Well the henna was a success, I now have uniformly dark brown hair with no grey and no tacky highlights. If anything it's a tiny bit redder where the highlights were, so I now have nice subtle highlights.

I'm ashamed of being vain about this though. Going grey gracefully is obviously the most mature and dignified choice and I need to grow up and stop minding.

lbt I'm sure your photos will look lovely and be treasured by all the family. Big families are certainly expensive. Ours is big too and every month seems to be someone's birthday. This week it is my mum's. I have a storecupboard present to give her (recycled from my own birthday) and have agreed to make a picnic for 12 people.

I'm so glad to hear your wardening contract was extended. That gives you three more years to get your finances into better shape - what a relief. I hope things are going well with the OH's business too.

Chev - well done! I did 7 hours work at the weekend :j.

I want to do at least 6 hours today. TV is on behind me now but my mum is taking the little ones out later thank goodness.

7 hours work is well worth doing! Good to read that the hair looks good too.

I hope you have a productive week, esp when you have quiet without the little ones.

I had given up hope of my desk in the shed, particularly when OH came up with an alternative proposal to move the TV into the dining room. NO!!!

But today I chanced to go out into the garden and found it had turned into a carboot sale! He's spread a tarpaulin on the ground and emptied the contents of the shed (well around a quarter of them) on the ground. I am SO hoping they are destined for car-booting or the dump, and I can occupy the newly emptied corner.

Otherwise.... phone call today to inform us that he has let the house contents insurance dd bounce. So that's something else for me to pay. Council tax is due tomorrow, I wonder who will pay that.

I'm planning to crack on with my casual work tonight, there's at least another three or four hours worth and it would be great to finish the job as I've got a lot else to get through this month.

Morning Seaxwyn. Sorry that the DD needs sorting out - another hassle you really could do without!

How's the shed clearing coming along? How long would you think it should be before it becomes a workable space for you?

Well a desk has appeared in the shed.... and the printer has relocated to the dining room  so there's definite signs of progress.

The pile of stuff on the lawn is still there. And OH has now gone to pick up a spare monitor as moving my computer of course requires rebuilding his...

Meanwhile the children have spent the day... watching tv on his computer in the shed!

I've had a horrible day. I have been accused of plagiarism. It's not without justification as I recycled some text - but this was due to a misunderstanding, not criminal intent (honest, guv).

Anyway I have had to tell my client (who have been fantastic and are supporting me), but I feel terrible about it. Really ashamed I that I could have done something so unprofessional and also worried that my preoccupation with debt is clouding my judgement. One phone call at the right moment would have prevented this from happening. And I really hope this can be resolved without major fall-out for me or my client.

Also I haven't finished two pieces of work I wanted to put to bed today so I could invoice for them.

The insurance money hasn't arrived in OH's account (and I'm terrified it's been held up by his failure to pay the latest premium). Lots of bills due. OH completely head in the sand and I feel so lonely and unsupported I could cry.

I took six garments into a local posh 'dress agency', the girl said they would definitely sell but she can't price them or sell them until her boss is back from holiday - on 20 August. They're summer things so I fear I missed the moment.

Oh well. Thank goodness it's running club tonight.

Oh big hugs hon - poor you. It sounds like OH needs a big whallop round the head :) I know it wouldn't solve anything but it might make you feel better? I so wish I was round the corner so I could give you a big hug and show you you've got loads of support and admiration. So I'll just have to do a virtual cheerleader routine instead:
