    Absolutely.....rant away!

And good for your dad in having the determination to do it himself - will probably get better doubly quick with that attitude. Even with the best physio, those who don't put the effort in themselves won't make a good recovery because they don't want it badly enough.

your dad sounds as though he will do what he needs to do.....good for him x

    Hi Seax
glad you are feeling positive about your work. And WOOHOO about your dad, and raspberries at the hospital! You could always complain about it.

Sorry to hear that your OH has been grumpy on holiday, but then if his job was paying more than yours, I guess he would have been working and you would have been coping with the children.........:D

    take care

Hi Seax, glad to hear your dad is feeling better. Like people have said sometimes it is a case of mind over matter and determination. Hope the weather is nice for your time away.

Sooo difficult to keep head above water but a diary helps. I monitor all the bills and have a chart on the kitchen wall when every bill is due and how much it might be so i know what is gonna hit me. fuel bill s rising is a real bummer too. I knew a guy who was never indebt by a simple means, he never spent any money. He never had a coffe when he went out for example. When I was deep in it I stopped spending on those little things and its amazing how it builds up.

    Hi Seaxwyn,
glad to hear your Dad is making good progress. I'd hassle the powers that be at the hospital to get more physio. Threaten letters to MP/Papers etc if they won't help. I think the early days are so important in deciding whether a full recovery is possible. (But I'm no medic).

Take care of yourself too at this stressful time when you're not only coping with all your usual stuff but also looking after your family's emotional needs.

    Hi Seaxwyn

Just popping in to see how you are - glad your dad is doing better - and as chev says, raspberries at the hospital. Your own day sounds pretty nice too, I'm glad to hear it.
