Thanks all. I just went out and bought DD2 a pair of pyjamas as well, as I didn't like the thought of her having nothing to open. Just £6, from M&S, I hope they fit, I got size 6 but she's very slim and they look enormous!Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

hi seax
how is it going, hope that the work is rolling in at a manageable pace for both of you.
I noticed one of your posts saying that your accounts were a bit close to their limits. So does this mean that online shopping might be on the cards again?:D
we actually had a bit of sun here today (ie more than 5 minutes in a row!) which was very pleasant
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Hi Chev - we are having long glorious sunny days here - you shouldn't have left!
I have plenty of work for the moment, thanks, and OH has a few days paid for marking this month. He also had a surprise cheque for 245 Euros - for work he did in 1992 or 3, the company went bust without paying his last invoice and a court case has rumbled ever since over whether the creditors should be compensated. We never expected to see that money. Just imagine how much the lawyers have made out of it though.
Our accounts are indeed up against their limits but guess what, I STILL haven't done an online shop. Mostly OH does the food shopping and that suits me.
Summer holidays so once again I face the horrible prospect of working with the kids in the house. My mum is taking the little ones out for a few hours today. Next week I have booked 3 days work in a client's office. And we have the use of a friend's house on the south coast for a couple of weeks so OH and I are going to take the kids down there on a rota. I will take our ropey old laptop and hope it proves possible to work down there.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
Sounds like a great plan Seaxwyn but make sure you have some chill time xx0

ooh, taking your laptop and working from a place on the coast.....conjures up all sorts of romantic idyllic scenes from a novel!!
Does Colin Firth or Mr Darcy (either of them) feature in this
