Morning Seaxwyn, I hope that today is productive.....for both you and OH.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Hugs, Seaxwyn - when you're at odds over the debtbusting, it must be so difficult to cope.... glad about the work, but the rest sounds so frustrating. All the best.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Sorry your haveing troubles with OH Seax.....
I have to ask though, what is the £74 'voluntary contribution' for? Doesn't sound very voluntary if they're chsing you for it!?!'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0 -

Very good point! Send them a dictionary instead!0 -
I know! I keep composing letters in my head explaining why I can't/won't pay the 'voluntary' £74, but they get a bit ranty.
I have just noticed I've passed 3,000 posts and become a 'Fantastically Fervent' etc. That makes me feel Fantastically Foolish. If each post represents 10 mins lurking and reading (a conservative estimate), that means I've spent 500 hours or 71 working days on MSE.
I've had a busy day and am enjoying my new hard-working persona. I hope I can keep it up. Still have deadlines whistling past my ears but I'm coming to accept I will always be like that and at least I get things done in the end.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
Well done on your extra medal! I thought you got it at 2000 and was getting all excited that I was getting close (well only 250 posts to go!) .... but it is 3000?? Ah well - a few more to go for me then!
Love the 71 days MSEing - and very profitable time spent I would suspect!0 -
Well some of it was productive, for sure!Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

I will not even begin to work out how much time that equates to for me then!!
Glad the work is still going well.......dare I ask if there is any news on the OH/Job front?Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Yep, some of it is downright chatty - like now! Hi! :hello:2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Thats a scary thought about how much time we have spent on these boards but the justification is that time is pretty well spent as we are paying our debts off and gaining great friends and that we are all learning lessons for life!!!!!
I'm loving this new persona thingy and am so happy that you seem to be achieving a more work/life/happier balance..have a good day xx0
