Could be penny, but people run the risk of the listing going through to end and they win, and then have NPB against them, and have neg feedback.
Intentions are good, but could go against them.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -

not if they are using throw away id's that are hardly/not used anymore........
would also give a chance to neg the seller and let people know what he is up to...0 -

Whilst your good intentions are applaudible, haven't you got anything better to do with your time? You'd be helping people in a far more constructive way if you joined the Samaritans, for example.

Thats a fair point SC...
However, you could argue that the samaritans is better than most things that people do off their own back. Dont pull weeds out your old neighbours garden (the samaritans need you more), dont babysit your friends child (the samaritans need you more), dont answer questions on forums (the samaritans need you more).
The world is a giant community, and everybody can help in their own way. If we all did the same, there would be gaping holes. 1 in 2 ebay auctions would be fraud, and it would collapse

This is what I would call irony. If only SC meant it......................"Success is not to be measured by the position someone has reached in life, but the obstacles he has overcome while trying to succeed." Booker T. Washington
The Official "Why does everyone have 'Official member of....club'?" which tend to be stupid/irrelevant Society. Member No 1 (I am aware of the irony btw)0 -
I think he did mean it

Snooze_Control wrote:But you would simply ignore a bloke in the street trying to sell you a picture of a Wii so why should it be any different when you see the exact same thing advertised on Fleabay?

I have to admit I agree. Maybe I'm being hard hearted cos Christmas is over but... imo the buyers were greedy, saw what they thought was a Wii and jumped in and bid without reading the item properly. I'm sure if the buyer had read it again afterwards and realised their mistake and not paid up, the seller would be quick enough to neg [though I think they wouldn't claim FVF's unless the seller was feeling particularly stupid as it would bring it to eBay's notice.]
Seller was preying on peoples greed for a newly released console, and the nature of those who jump in on seeing a 'bargain', hence listing it in the console category.0 -

Really, why do people not read the auction description in the end they get what is advertised and no offence is commited.Debt Free Wannabee - Updated 13/08/2007

However you dress it up these sellers set out to deceive, yes buyers shouldn't be so gullible, but it should not be allowed.0
