  • Well.......

    I'm joining Team B L U E !!!

Still hasn't sunk in really as DH and I were convinced it was another girly and were fully prepared for the sonographer to, yet again, say she couldn't tell! :D

Not very MSE of me really as I won't be able to recycle most of Poppy's mountain of 'stuff'! :rotfl:.

All is good with my BP too and the consultant doesn't need to see me again unless the MW is concerned - yay! :)

    xx

Chocaholic - sounds like you have an attic full of Ebay-cash to me!

September - congrats on one of each! More Ebay then...

Support the views about the VTech walker, plus inanimate objects. Imogen's gramps made her some sticks - just small 1/2 inch square pieces of wood about 5 inch long, which she likes to stack and knock over. Think they're offcuts from his latest cabinet-making project! Very MSE

  • SB, congratulations, another mum in the one of each camp, I seem to be meeting or hearing a lot about these lately, rather than same sex additions.

Don't forget you will be able to recycle things like the white vests and Molly has got some plain beige trousers that were Jacks, which be fine with a pink t shirt. Although it might be harder to go the other way, as girls stuff is frillier and more decorated than boys.

Still you could ebay some of Poppy's mountain to buy for a boy!

    Congratulations again.

Life has been good that last two days I've really been enjoying the children. Molly is sitting up totally unaided now at 5 months old 1 week, she's just clicked it and loves being up. I still prefer her to have a v pillow behind her, but when she does go back she does a mini sit up back up or uses her arm to pull herself back up. Consequently she's been more tired and having deeper naps!(What a shame!)

Right must go, we've treated outselves to 40" tv for the wall, DH has just bought it home and its due for inspection. Hurrah.

congratulations september baby - boys are great (I've got two so I have to be biased) your girls will love him to bits.

on the toys debate I've looked for a link but can't find one so guess it must be an old toy but my archie loves his musical drum that lights up when "banged" - my pal had one and he loved it so I had to snap one up when I saw it at the car boot. i've since got loads of really cheap battery (v tech etc) toys from the carboot as people just want rid... the drum was only a pound and a vtech phone and others were only 10p!!

have to say though that my ds1 never played much with any toys - the most fun he gets from most of them is the joy of unwrapping and then a few weekslater he quickly loses interest....ds2 however is very different and plays with soft toys, books, button toys the works....he's a joy to buy for.

I'm enjoying the summer hols too. It's so nice to be able to just relax in the mornings rather than have to do the school run....bliss!!!!!!:T

Very true. Many people couldn't imagine why I wanted another one when I already had a DS and DD. Added into the fact that there is nine years between my last two children and most people assume OH is a new partner - I have been asked this several times, mainly by health visitors and the paediatrician at the hospital. They look very surprised when I tell them no, we've been married over 10 years.

Congrats on the boy, SeptemberBaby. I like having two boys, not least because with them I don't have to comb through waist length hair each morning!!

Welcome Bethom. I love the name you've chosen.

They did have one of these in Tesco this week. DD wanted me to get one but as she's nearly 10 I didn't!!!

I did buy the melody cube though. I think it's great. Tom doesn't let it stay on any side long enough to sing so it just goes "Green...white...green... blue...white polar...yell...green"
