Nurse said I would need to get a sample and gave me a silly little stick on bag to stick to her bits and hopefully if stuck on right the wee would go into the bag!!!
Has anyone got any other suggestions or done this b4?
TIA
Probably a bit late answering this but it might help someone else!
My eldest needed a sample taking and the HV advised putting cotton wool in his nappy. Then when he'd done a wee, and had to scrub my hands clean and then squeeze the wet cotton wool into the urine sample pot. It was a bit yukky, but it worked!
Hope your leg feels better soon Heather. That sounds like a nightmare.
Was laughing at Charlotte last night. It was bed time, but she was happily playing and didn't want to go. I had her in my arms and kept saying "say night night to Daddy" but she just kept saying "no night nights" to him and pointing to her toys in the hope I'd put her back on the floor :rotfl:Here I go again on my own....0 -
Scruffy- DS2 has to have one of those bags for a sample before we left hospital. He had it on for around 2 or so hours and when he did start to wee it was a race between me and the midwife to pick him up so it went straight down into the bag. We thought he'd finished, took the bag off with the wee in it and right on cue he carried on, all down my front
DS2's consultant wanted another sample a few month ago and gave us a speciman pot, told us to try and get a sample when Adam had a feed, what a palava.
Hope she's doing fine, there's nothing worse that a water infection. If everyone cared and nobody cried, if everyone loved and nobody lied, if everyone shared and swallowed their pride then we'd see the day when nobody died.

Hope all goes well this weekend with the Big Girl Bed!
Is that a V-Tech walker in Kennedy's avitar? We have just ordered one from Amazon and its just caught my eye on your post!
If it is, does/did she like it?
Ellie has one although not using it to walk yet but the activity bit on the front comes off so Ellie plays with that on the floor at the mo, she loves it!Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -
Thanks, Scruffy. It was on HotUKDeals so we ordered it last week and since then I keep seeing them everywhere I look! Glad Ellie likes it
Still waiting for any signs of crawling from Poppy. At the moment she just rolls and rolls over again to get where she wants :rotfl:

Natasha loves the V Tech Walker too - she pushes the butterfly open and closed and says 'peeboo' (peekaboo, I presume), and gives the dog at the top kisses when it sings it's little song. :A"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Our HV gave us a bit of info on Thursday about a big promotion coming up for babies night time milk - she said it has cereal in it and is that thick a size 4 teat is needed and each bottle contains 1500 calories - she said that some babies were that full from the night before they didnt eat anything the next day!!! The studies they had done were on cow & gate but probably all the manufacturers were the same so advised against anyone trying this milk19.6.10 Weight loss 6lb0

what a day!
i had a suspect mole removed from my leg last week and went today to have the stitches out, about 2 hrs later i'm walking round a shop and my leg felt wet, i had a quick look and the wound had reopened!
Icky details here - OMG that's so weird. I had the same thing happen to me. The wound just popped back open, I was not pleased. I had the option of re-stitching or the neater option of leaving it to heal by itself. It was cool watching it grow back layer by layer but nightmare not being allowed to get leg wet for weeks...
As long as I am being all personal, I had some random tests done on holiday (mum knows some doctors and is always worried about my health) and they have found gallstones (thank you baby), a kidney infection (you'd think I'd notice) and a growth on my left ovary (ultrasound tomorrow to check it out). Well it has brought it home to me that even though I am falling apart  I don't want "just" the one Joseph, so have talked hubby into another pregnancy, although not for years at this rate...
Hope you're all better:wall:0
