    Update

Took my little boy to see the specialist and he is fine his dimple is nothing to worry about,:T :T if I wasn't breastfeeding I would be very drunk by now.:rotfl:

That's brilliant news. I'm pleased to hear that everything is ok :j

Does anyone else have a problem with teeth cleaning? Charlotte only has one tooth, but she goes crackers when I try to clean it. She yells and pushes my hands out of the way. My boys were both nearly 2 before they got any teeth and it was much easier with them.

Anyone got any tips they can share?

What about dotting the toothpaste onto some clean muslin and gently rubbing the tooth with your finger, would she accept that more easily?

It would get her used to the taste of the toothpaste and the rubbing action on her gums, and you could introduce the toothbrush itself a bit later on.

lol :D my boy is still terrible about brushing teeth and he is 10! Every day is a battle to gert him to do it (and wash too - what is it with boys!)

Let us know if you come across a practical solution - maybe I will be able to get ds2 better trained this time.

Tee Pee, fantastic news :T :T

Bought one of these recently from ebay (after seeing Charlotte jumping around) and we put Samantha into it this morning. She seemed okay with it, but I am concerned she is going to hit her head on the 'trunk' that is sticking out at the centre of the hanger shape. Her head is probably only 10cm away from it ??????

Alice wouldn't entertain tooth cleaning at first so OH cleans his teeth at the same time as putting her toothbrush in her mouth. He did as much as he could and then let her have the toothbrush to play clean her teeth. Before long it became fairly easy to get in to do her teeth although she is always quite keen to grab it to do it herself.

Our's is different to that. It hasn't got the blue plastic bit with the trunk on - just really long straps that go into a bit way above her head.

If you are worried about Samantha banging her head, could you sellotape a sponge or a folded cloth or something similar over it?

    Well done Lu :T :j

I'm hoping to lose some weight before the summer - there's nothing like the prospect of a beach holiday to make you want to lose a few pounds (or stones :o :rotfl: ).

I'm actually not doing too bad as I'm now slimmer than I was when I fell pregnant with Alex, but unfortunately I'm still carrying some extra weight from DS1, so about a stone and a half to go

My only problem is I don't do dieting (love my food too much :p) so it means I have to exercise

Hey Dormouse, I don't do dieting either but Slimming World has worked really well for me as nothing is banned and I'm never hungry. (Sorry to sound a bit evangelical, it doesn't work for everyone I know). I match hubby on portions if I'm hungry and still lose weight. If you're into food and want to try something then I'd recommend picking up a SW magazine to see what you think.

Thanks for all the congrats girls. Just hope I haven't blown it after a weekend at my brother's!

TeePee - fab news :T Such a relief.

Izoom - just about to read your treasure baskets links. Took Imogen for her first introduction session at nursery on Thursday and she LOVED it! Noticed a book on heuristic play there and was intrigued so thanks for the timely links. Am hoping she'll still like it when I take her and leave for a while next week. Fingers crossed!

right ladies, i need some advice. i really can't afford a double pram and kennedy wont be in it much longer as she's nearly 18 months now, so i want to buy a sling for the new baby. i've been looking and i thing a wrap will be best for me, but i'm not too sure.
i need to be able to bf, i need to be able to put it one myself without help, i need to be able to wear it all day and stay comfy and it has to look nice as well.
    any one offer help?
