Hi Heather - I've never used a sling so I can't help there I'm afraid, but have you looked at the buggy boards at all? I was just wondering if they would be a useful stopgap for an 18 month old who doesn't need a full time pram, but can't always walk as far/fast as you?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

the thing is when we go out she still falls asleep in the pram, she will be 2 when the baby is born and may not need the pram at all (or a nap), but i like the idea of a sling anyway and will get one to carry baby at home so kennedy doesn't try and kill her!
plus when we're out the feeding area in our local shopping areais quite small and i'm not sure that i'll get a toddler and pram and baby in there with out being squashed, so a sling i can feed in discretely in a cafe would be great0 -
:rotfl: My friend had that problem with her 2 year old and her new baby....the two year old seems to think that climing onto the baby's back as she tries to crawl is an amusing pastime."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

lol, kennedy loves other babies especially poking them in the eye or sticking her finger up their nose! in fact she does that to me too!0

Hi Heather
Have you had a word with your HV? Apparently there's a lady in our area (Wakefield) who is known as the sling lady and has all sorts which she comes to demonstrate. Might be worth asking?
Just had a call from OH from the supermarket where he's taken Imogen while I do some work. Her new word from yesterday is 'biccit' and she has spent 5 minutes on the baby aisle pointing and saying 'biccit, yes, biccit Daddy' :rotfl: :rotfl: Apparently I've bred a monster!MSE Parent Club Member #1Yummy slummy mummy club member50% slummy, 50% mummy, 100% proudImogen born Boxing Day 2006Alex born 13 July 20090 -

Ah. You could always just ring and not identify yourself! Mother & Baby tested some recently. I'll have a look at the results when I'm at home later and let you know what came out top.MSE Parent Club Member #1Yummy slummy mummy club member50% slummy, 50% mummy, 100% proudImogen born Boxing Day 2006Alex born 13 July 20090

izoomzoom, that bouncer isn't put together properly. The trunk should be tucked away completely (I just poked mine out and it slotted back in). I hope you can fix it, I know how pricey these can get when you add p&p on top...:wall:0

The 'trunk' bit seems to have disappeared into the hangar part now, so don't know what I did wrong the first time she used it. Thank goodness she has some head room now.
We paid £2 for it, plus £4.95 for postage, so £7 all in all - a very good :money: !:rotfl: :rotfl: .0
