Ummm no, DS2 is 6 and I have managed to avoid a smear test for 5 years !

I have my 6 week post natal check up next week, and they better insist on doing it there and then, otherwise I will find another excuse and probably avoid it for a further 6 years !!

Glad it's not just me! :o My last one was in 1999! :o

I do need to make an appointment for the New Year though.

I'm getting cold just thinking about that. It's still frosty in Durham!

    Hi Everyone,

I'm having real issues with my boss about returning to work, from all the info my Dad has gathered off the web she is trying to ride roughshod over my legal rights!

My job has been changed and relocated for no obvious reason with no contact to inform me of the changes and a written request for a reason has been ignored!

Aw MadDogWoman that's awful it's horrible enough having to leave your lo and go back to work, good to see your Union are involved they sorted out prob's I had I also found Working Families very helpful they have a free legal helpline too, and don't you let work spoil this precious time you have left with your daughter before you go back.
Re the pram this is a crazy idea but would she wear sunglasses until you get something else sorted? (prob on my mind cos my daughter found a pair we got her in the summer last night and wouldnt take them off all evening:confused: I had to sneak in when she'd falllen asleep and pinch them off her.

My dh has gone out tonight, muggins stuck at home babysitting. Lol, have managed to get them both in bed by half six though, so that's a result :rotfl:

Shame we can't go out for a mse parent club night out, reckon that would be fun. I've only had two nights out this christmas, suppose I should think myself lucky :D

I'm going out next week with my baby group - it will be my first time since Alex was born.

I'm in for a rubbish night tonight. Alex has come down with a cold again, even though he just had one a couple of weeks ago. :( DS1 has conjunctivitis - oh the joys of being a parent! :(

And DH ate the bit of dark chocolate I thought I'd hidden - obviously not well enough!

    *sigh*

    Hi Violetta,

That's a brilliant idea! I received a catalogue full of baby/kids skiing gear in it from with my Gymbabes magazine - I'll have to hunt it out though as my mum has been round tidying and organizing me today.

When Izzy had conjunctivitis a few weeks ago, I caught it off her - first one eye for 5 days, then the other for another 5 days. I looked a right sight!

Keep washing those hands Dormouse ;)
