  • Just a quick question as I'm listing a load of old baby stuff in the local rag/ebay.

Would people with boys have considered putting them in a lemon moses basket? I've read that it is a unisex colour, but not sure.

I would use lemon for boys personally! :o My boys have both had lemony/lilacy bedding sets in their room! :D
  • My friend put hers in a lemon moses basket and I never thought anything strange about it.
  • I have noticed that I'm trying to focus my worry elsewhere by becoming obsessive about pushchair research - I feel Katie needs a rear facing one as she keeps getting a sore eye in this cold weather (cold air being blown in her face sets it off), she has to have her raincover on at all times.

BTW I'm thinking of either the Quinny Buzz or ICandy Cherry - any opnions welcome.
I know not everyone gets on with them but have you considered using a sling? They're cheaper and take up less space and you could have her facing you.
  • Glad to help, hope your little fella takes the Nutramigen, before 12 weeks and they usually do.

I think Lemon is fine for either sex, i've used it with Jack.

    Sorry its quick gotta go.

    Hi Sue,

I would but she's a hefty one at 20lb+ and my back can't take it unfortunately.

    Thanks for the suggestion though

And yes, once you've had a baby, you do lose all dignity when it comes to your bits. :rotfl: A smear test is a doddle these days.

Ummm no, DS2 is 6 and I have managed to avoid a smear test for 5 years !

I have my 6 week post natal check up next week, and they better insist on doing it there and then, otherwise I will find another excuse and probably avoid it for a further 6 years !!

I took Charlotte to see Fenwicks windows this morning.

It's a huge department store in Newcastle and every year they always have huge animated models telling a story with different scenes in each window, and there is festive music playing through loud speakers. I've been every year since I was tiny!

It was all animals preparing for Christmas this year, so there were squirrels collecting nuts, and mice making cakes and things like that. I had Charlotte in my arms so I could talk to her, and her eyes were huge in amazement as we looked at things. She liked the big goose best :D
Here I go again on my own....
